*Model Conduct: People and Events in the Party’s Work Style Building* Published and Released

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, August 26 – In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulations, vigorously promote the Party’s glorious traditions and fine conduct, and fully leverage the role of Party history in learning from the past to guide the present and educate people, the Institute of Party History and Literature of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has organized the compilation of the book *Model Conduct: People and Events in the Party’s Work Style Building*. It has recently been published and distributed by the CPC History Publishing House. 新华社北京8月26日电 为深入贯彻中央八项规定精神，大力弘扬党的光荣传统和优良作风，充分发挥党史以史鉴今、资政育人作用，中央党史和文献研究院组织编写了《风范——党的作风建设中的人与事》一书，近日由中共党史出版社出版发行。

The book contains 83 articles totaling 170,000 characters. It uses small stories to explain great principles, vividly presenting stories of the older generation of revolutionaries and heroic model figures who adhered to fine conduct such as integrating theory with practice, maintaining close ties with the masses, practicing criticism and self-criticism, working hard, and seeking truth from facts. It clearly reveals the profound truth that the Party’s work style is the Party’s image, which concerns the support of the people and determines the success or failure of the Party’s and the nation’s undertakings.

该书收录文章83篇，17万字，用小故事讲述大道理，生动展现老一辈革命家和英雄模范人物坚持理论联系实际、密切联系群众、批评和自我批评以及艰苦奋斗、求真务实等优良作风的故事，鲜明揭示党的作风就是党的形象，关系人心向背，决定党和国家事业成败的深刻道理。

The book is of significant positive importance for the vast number of Party members, cadres, and the masses in studying the history of the Party’s work style building, consciously carrying fine traditions into the new journey, promoting fine conduct in the New Era, and using new achievements in work style building to provide a strong guarantee for advancing Chinese-path modernization.

该书对于广大党员干部群众学习党的作风建设历史，自觉把好传统带进新征程、将好作风弘扬在新时代，以作风建设新成效为推进中国式现代化建设提供有力保证，具有重要积极意义。
