Brief Report on the Themed Party Day Activity of the Foreign Studies Department Party Branch of the Academy of Marxism

In order to continuously strengthen and advance the construction of grassroots Party organizations, constantly enhance the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the Party branch, raise the Party spirit and spiritual realm of the broad masses of Party members, and firmly establish the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Foreign Studies Department Party Branch of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted a themed Party Day activity on April 9, 2015, titled "Revisiting the *Communist Manifesto*." The main venues for the activity were the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau.

为了不断加强和推进基层党组织建设，不断增强党支部的凝聚力和战斗力，提高广大党员的党性修养和精神境界，坚定中国特色社会主义共同理想，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院国外部党支部在2015年4月9日开展了一次“重温《共产党宣言》”的主题党日活动，活动的主要地点是中国社会科学院和中央编译局。

On April 9, Beijing was sunny with bright spring flowers. All Party members of the Foreign Studies Department Party Branch of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences first convened a Party branch meeting in the office of Director Feng Yanli of the Foreign Studies Department. At the meeting, Director Feng made systematic arrangements for Party branch construction and activities. At the same time, the election for the new leadership of the Foreign Studies Department Party Branch was successfully conducted. After the morning meeting concluded, all Party members proceeded together to the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau to revisit the *Communist Manifesto*.

9日的北京阳光灿烂、春暖花开。中国社科院马研院国外部党支部全体党员首先在国外部冯颜利主任的办公室召开了党支部会议。会上，冯主任就党支部建设和党支部活动进行了系统的安排。同时，会上还顺利进行了国外部党支部的换届选举工作。上午会议结束后，全体党员集体前往中央编译局，重温《共产党宣言》。

中央编译局正在举办大型展览——思想的历程·马克思主义在中国·百年传播。在党支部书记冯颜利老师的带领下，国外部党支部全体党员认真参观了这个大型展览，中共中央编译局马克思主义研究部季正矩主任安排专人进行了讲解。一百多年来，《共产党宣言》从一种文字出版到几十种文字出版，从在一个国家秘密传播到全世界广泛传播，从推动工人阶级自身的解放运动到影响全世界政治、经济、文化、社会格局的变化，《共产党宣言》始终以巨大的理论威力、思想锋芒和战斗精神推动着人类历史的伟大变革。重温《共产党宣言》，了解《共产党宣言》在世界和中国的传播历程，有助于我们更加深刻的理解《共产党宣言》的深刻内涵和精神力量。参观过程中，党员们看到了各种版本、各种文字的《共产党宣言》，深刻感受到了《共产党宣言》传播的不容易，深刻领会了理论的力量和对革命实践的巨大影响。大家纷纷表示，要以更加主动的态度、更加认真的精神不断学习、研究和宣传《共产党宣言》，不断学习、研究和宣传马克思主义，发扬马克思主义的革命精神、科学精神和创新精神，为中国马克思主义研究事业做出更大的贡献。
