“21st Century Scientific and Technological Development and Human Progress” International Forum Convened in Shanghai

The “21st Century Scientific and Technological Development and Human Progress” international symposium, jointly hosted by the Economic and Social Development Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (under the administration of the Academy of Marxism), the Institute of Marxist Studies of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and the Center for the Study of Transformative Sciences of the Autonomous Metropolitan University of Mexico, was convened at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics from 28 to 29 September 2013. More than 50 scholars from the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Mexico, Norway, and numerous leading universities and research institutions within China attended the conference. Professor Cheng Enfu, Director of the Academic Division of Marxist Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Director of the Economic and Social Development Research Center, delivered the opening address and gave a speech titled “The Chinese Dream and the Chinese Institutional Model.” Scholars from various countries conducted in-depth discussions on three main aspects: scientific and technological progress and economic development, scientific and technological progress and democratic politics, and scientific and technological progress and international politics. 由中国社会科学院经济社会发展研究中心（马研院主管）、上海财经大学马克思主义研究院、墨西哥城市自治大学转型科学研究中心联合主办的“21世纪科技发展与人类进步”国际研讨会于2013年9月28至29日在上海财经大学召开。来自英国、德国、奥地利、墨西哥、挪威以及国内多所著名高校和科研机构的50多位学者出席了会议。 中国社会科学院马克思主义研究学部主任、经济社会发展研究中心主任程恩富教授致开幕词，并做了题为“中国梦与中国制度模式”的演讲。 各国学者主要就科技进步与经济发展、科技进步与民主政治、科技进步与国际政治等三个方面进行了深入的探讨。 网络编辑：岚河水
