The Institute of Marxism Holds a Mobilization Meeting for the "Campaign of Education and Practice on the Mass Line"

On the afternoon of July 23, 2013, the Institute of Marxism held a mobilization meeting for the "Campaign of Education and Practice on the Mass Line." Deng Chundong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Marxism, delivered the mobilization address, and Zhang Guanzi, head of the Third Supervisory Group of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Director of the Personnel and Education Bureau, attended and spoke.

2013年7月23日下午，马克思主义研究院召开“党的群众路线教育实践活动”动员大会。马研院党委书记邓纯东作动员，中国社科院第三督导组组长、人事教育局局长张冠梓到会并讲话。

At the meeting, Comrade Deng Chundong first conveyed the basic spirit of "Speech at the Mobilization Meeting for the Campaign of Education and Practice on the Mass Line of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences" by Wang Weiguang, President and Party Secretary of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the "Implementation Plan for the Campaign of Education and Practice on the Mass Line of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences," and the "Implementation Plan for the Campaign of Education and Practice on the Mass Line of the Institute of Marxism." In his speech, he pointed out that carrying out this campaign of education and practice was a major decision made by the 18th National Congress of the CPC, and that the Party Central Committee and the Party Committee of the Academy attached great importance to it. He emphasized that all Party branches and all Party members of the Institute of Marxism, especially leading cadres at the departmental and office levels and above, must raise their awareness and actively participate in the campaign; they must grasp the work requirements and main principles of the campaign of education and practice to ensure the campaign proceeds in the correct direction; they must focus on implementation, strive to achieve the best campaign results, and aim through the campaign of education and practice to bring about a new improvement in everyone's mental outlook, a new transformation in academic style and work style, and a new elevation in overall work.

会上，邓纯东同志首先传达了中国社科院院长院长、党组书记王伟光《在中国社科院“党的群众路线教育实践活动动员大会”上的讲话》、《中国社会科学院党的群众路线教育实践活动实施方案》及《马克思主义研究院党的群众路线教育实践活动实施方案》的基本精神。他在讲话指出，开展这次教育实践活动，是党的十八大作出的重大决策，党中央和社科院党组高度重视。他强调，马研院各党支部、全体党员尤其是处室级以上领导干部一定要提高认识，以积极的态度投入到活动中来；要把握好教育实践活动的工作要求和主要原则，保证活动沿着正确的方向开展；要抓好落实，力争取得最好的活动效果，力争通过教育实践活动，使大家的精神面貌有新的改观，学风作风有新的转变，整体工作有新的提高。

Comrade Zhang Guanzi pointed out in his speech that the Institute of Marxism attaches great importance to this campaign of education and practice, has done a great deal of preparatory work, and the implementation plan formulated is suited to the realities of the Academy and the Institute of Marxism. He emphasized that ideologically, one must deeply understand the great significance of this campaign of education and practice; in implementation, one must combine it with advancing work, and test the campaign of education and practice by the actual results of promoting the unit's work. He stated that the supervisory group would rely closely on the Party Committee of the Institute of Marxism to carry out its work, fulfilling its duties without overstepping its role, and supervising without taking over.

张冠梓同志在讲话中指出，马研院对此次教育实践活动非常重视，做了大量准备工作，制订的实施方案切合社科院和马研院的实际。他强调，思想上一定要深刻认识本次教育实践活动的重大意义，落实上一定要和推进工作结合起来，以推进单位工作的实际效果检验教育实践活动。他表示，督导组要紧紧依靠马研院党委开展工作，尽职而不越位、督导而不包办。

After the meeting, the supervisory group conducted a democratic evaluation of the current leadership team and its members of the Institute of Marxism.

会后，督导组对马研院现任领导班子、班子成员进行了民主测评。

The meeting was chaired by Cheng Enfu, Director of the Institute of Marxism, and all personnel of the Institute of Marxism attended.
