The Third Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context Held

On January 4, 2013, the Department of Research on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences held the "Third Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context" in Beijing, with the theme "Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context: History and Laws." More than 50 experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC [1]1 The Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC (中共中央党校) is the highest training institution for leading cadres of the Chinese Communist Party, directly under the Party Central Committee., Peking University, Jilin University, Capital University of Economics and Business, Ningbo University, and other institutions attended the meeting. Li Shenming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, attended the seminar and delivered a speech; Deng Chundong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy of Marxism, delivered an address; and Jin Minqing, Director of the Department of Research on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context, gave a keynote speech as a research fellow.

2013年1月4日，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院马克思主义中国化研究部以“马克思主义中国化：历史与规律”为主题在北京举办了“第三届马克思主义中国化学术论坛。来自中国社会科学院、中共中央党校、北京大学、吉林大学、首都经贸大学、宁波大学等单位的专家学者50多人参加会议。中国社会科学院党组副书记、副院长李慎明出席研讨会并讲话，马克思主义研究院党委书记邓纯东致辞，马克思主义中国化研究部负责人金民卿研究员作主题发言。

At the seminar, scholars engaged in lively discussions on topics such as the historical process, basic experience, ideological logic, methodology, practical pathways, laws of innovation, and the people-oriented dimension of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context. The participating scholars believed that adapting Marxism to the Chinese context is a subject of great practical and theoretical significance, containing rich content and involving many aspects. It requires long-term and unremitting research from multiple disciplines and perspectives, striving to contribute to advancing the study of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context.

研讨会上，学者们围绕马克思主义中国化的历史进程、基本经验、思想逻辑、方法论、现实路径、创新规律、人民向度等问题展开热烈讨论。与会学者认为，马克思主义中国化是一个具有重大现实意义和理论意义的课题，包含着丰富的内容，涉及众多方面，要从多学科、多视角进行长期不懈的研究，努力为推进马克思主义中国化的研究做出贡献。
