Annual Work Meeting of the Journal and Network Center of the Academy of Marxism Held

On January 24, 2013, the annual work meeting of the Journal and Network Center of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was held. Professor Cheng Enfu, Director of the Academic Division of Marxist Studies, President of the Academy of Marxism, and Director of the Journal and Network Center, attended the meeting. All personnel from six departments—the editorial department of *Marxist Studies*, the editorial department of *International Critical Thought* (English edition), the editorial department of *Marxist Digest*, the editorial department of the *Yearbook of Marxist Theoretical Research and Discipline Construction*, the Online Editorial Office, and the Network Office—participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhai Shengming, Deputy Director of the Journal and Network Center and Director of the Editorial Department of *Marxist Studies*.

2013年1月24日，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院期刊网络中心年度工作会议召开。马克思主义研究学部主任、马克思主义研究院院长、期刊网络中心主任程恩富教授出席会议，《马克思主义研究》编辑部、《国际思想评论》（英文）编辑部、《马克思主义文摘》编辑部、《马克思主义理论研究与学科建设年鉴》编辑部、网编室、网络室等六部门全体人员参加了会议。会议由刊网中心副主任、《马克思主义研究》编辑部主任翟胜明研究员主持。

Heads of each department within the Journal and Network Center respectively reported on their departments’ work progress in 2012 and work plan highlights for 2013. Zhai Shengming introduced the establishment of new columns in *Marxist Studies* in 2012, editorial work, publication and distribution, social impact, the hosting of and participation in national academic conferences, and the “pilot application for innovative engineering academic journals (*Marxist Studies*).” He demanded that the editorial department overcome difficulties, work hard, and further improve editorial and proofreading standards in the new year. Zhai Shengming also introduced the editing and publication situation of the *Yearbook* in 2012. He expressed the hope that, with the cooperation of various departments of the Academy of Marxism, the academic level and academic influence of the *Yearbook* would continue to be improved. Wang Zhongbao, Deputy Director (in charge) of the editorial department of *International Critical Thought* (English edition), reported on the global publication of *International Critical Thought* over the past year, the improvement of review and editing processes, departmental and editorial management, the journal’s external publicity and solicitation of contributions, as well as work plans for the new year, including organizing contributions and establishing an online review platform. Li Jianguo, Director of the editorial department of the *Digest*, reported on the cooperative publication between the Academy of Marxism and the Information Center for Social Sciences of Renmin University of China, the selection and compilation of articles, circulation volume and social impact, and plans to further improve the quality of article selection. Tan Yangfang, Director of the Online Editorial Office, along with editors Jia Keqing, Wang Jiafei, and Zhang Jian, reported on the number of articles selected, selection principles, selection procedures, and the selection situation in their respective areas of responsibility on the Marxism Research Network over the past year. Zhong Hebin, representing He Chengzhong, Director of the Network Office, reported on the Network Office’s management of computer networks, applications for network email accounts, troubleshooting, and equipment procurement over the past year.

刊网中心各部门负责人分别报告了各部门2012年度的工作进展以及2013年工作计划要点。翟胜明介绍了2012年《马克思主义研究》新栏目的设立、编辑工作、出版发行、社会影响、主办和参加全国性学术会议的情况，以及“创新工程学术期刊（《马克思主义研究》）试点申报”情况。他要求编辑部在新的一年里，要克服困难，努力工作，进一步提高编校水平。翟胜明还介绍了2012年度《年鉴》的编辑和出版情况，他希望在马研院各部门的配合下，继续提高《年鉴》的学术水平和学术影响。《国际思想评论》(英文)编辑部主持工作的副主任王中保报告了过去一年《国际思想评论》全球刊发、编审流程完善、部务和编务管理、杂志外宣和约稿等情况，以及在新的一年进行组稿、建立网上评审平台等工作计划。《文摘》编辑部主任李建国报告了马克思主义研究院与中国人民大学书报资料中心合作办刊、稿件选编、发行量与社会影响等情况，以及进一步提高选稿质量的打算。网编室主任谭扬芳与编辑贾可卿、王佳菲、张剑等报告了马克思主义研究网过去一年选稿数量、选稿原则、选稿流程及各自负责领域的选稿情况。网络室仲河滨代表室主任何诚中报告了网络室过去一年进行电脑网络管理、网络电邮账号申请、故障处理以及设备采购等情况。

President Cheng Enfu finally delivered a summary and put forward work requirements for the new year. President Cheng pointed out that *Marxist Studies*, *International Critical Thought*, *Marxist Digest*, and the Marxism Research Network are important domestic and international platforms for showcasing the achievements and developments of Marxist research, and are also important positions for propagating Marxism and expanding its influence. Over the past year, all units under the Journal and Network Center had made positive progress in various tasks. The column setup of *Marxist Studies* had become more scientific, and the quality of editing and proofreading had further improved; the international influence of *International Critical Thought* had risen rapidly, and the management of editorial and departmental affairs had become increasingly refined; the academic nature, vividness, and readability of the *Digest* had been further demonstrated; the *Yearbook* had received a good response in academic circles after its publication and distribution; the columns on the Marxism Research Network had become richer after its revision, and article updates had accelerated; the Network Office had also provided better technical support for the researchers of the Academy of Marxism. President Cheng demanded that in the new year, the Journal and Network Center continue to work together with one heart, cooperate with each other, eliminate interference, redouble efforts, push forward all tasks, and achieve greater results.

程恩富院长最后进行了总结并提出了新的一年的工作要求。程院长指出，《马克思主义研究》、《国际思想评论》、《马克思主义文摘》、马克思主义研究网是展现马克思主义研究成果和动态的重要国内国际平台，也是宣传马克思主义、扩大马克思主义影响的重要阵地。刊网中心所属单位在过去一年里各项工作都取得积极进展，《马克思主义研究》栏目设立更加科学，编校质量进一步提高；《国际思想评论》在国际上的影响迅速上升、编务和部务工作管理日益精细化；《文摘》的学术性、生动性、可读性进一步得到体现；《年鉴》出版发行后在学界反响良好；马克思主义研究网改版后栏目更加丰富、文章更新加快；网络室也为马研院科研人员提供了更好的技术支持。程院长要求，刊网中心要在新的一年里，继续齐心协力、相互配合、排除干扰、加倍努力，把各项工作继续推向前进，取得更大的成绩。
