China-Mexico Conference on the Alliance for the Advancement of Human Progress and Culture Held in Beijing

On March 4, the “China-Mexico Conference on the Alliance for the Advancement of Human Progress and Culture,” co-hosted by the Research Center for Economic and Social Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Center for Transformative Science Research of the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico City, was held in the conference room of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Participants included Professor Cheng Enfu, President of the Academy of Marxism; Dr. Enrique Fernández Fassnacht, Rector of the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico City; Professor Heinz Dieterich, Director of the Center for Transformative Science Research of the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico City; Professor Alix Lozano of the Center; and representatives from over a dozen domestic universities, including Liaoning University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Fujian Normal University, Shanghai University, and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. President Cheng Enfu delivered the opening address. Professor Dieterich introduced the cooperation between the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico City and our Academy, as well as with other domestic universities and research institutions, over the past year. He also introduced the publication of the Spanish-language edition of the book *China’s Political and Economic Influence in Latin America* (author: Alfredo Jalife-Rahme, Director of the Geostrategic Studies Office of the Center for Transformative Science Research of the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico City), the use of the first Chinese-Spanish language teaching software in Latin America (designed by Professor Alix Lozano of the Center for Transformative Science Research of the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico City), and discussed specific exchange and cooperation projects between Chinese universities and research institutions and the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico City (including scholar exchanges, student exchanges, and cooperative publishing in 2013).

3月4日, 由中国社会科学院经济社会发展研究中心和墨西哥城市自治大学转型科学研究中心联合主办的“中墨促进人类进步文化联盟会议”在中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院会议室召开。参加会议的有马研院院长程恩富教授、墨西哥城市自治大学校长恩里克·费尔南德斯·法斯纳契特博士、墨西哥城市自治大学转型科学研究中心主任海因茨·迪特里奇教授、中心教授阿利克斯·洛扎诺，以及来自辽宁大学、上海财经大学、福建师范大学、上海大学，西南财经大学等国内十几所大学的代表。程恩富院长致开幕词，迪特里奇教授介绍了墨西哥城市自治大学在过去一年里与我院及国内其它高校和科研机构的合作，介绍了《中国在拉丁美洲的政治经济影响》（作者:墨西哥城市自治大学转型科学研究中心地缘策略研究室主任阿尔弗雷德·贾立夫－拉米）一书的西班牙文版的出版、拉美地区首款汉语－西班牙语教学软件的使用（设计者墨西哥城市自治大学转型科学研究中心阿利克斯·洛扎诺教授），并讨论了中国院校、科研机构与墨西哥城市自治大学之间的具体交流合作项目（2013年学者互访、交换学生、合作出版等）。
