October 14: President and Party Secretary Deng Chundun Meets General Secretary of the New Italian Communist Party Central Committee

On October 14, 2016, Deng Chundun, President and Party Secretary of the Academy of Marxism, met in Florence, Italy, with Mauro Alboresi, General Secretary of the New Italian Communist Party; Alessandro Leoni, member of the Central Committee and of the International Department of the New Italian Communist Party; and Francesco Maringio, member of the Central Committee of the New Italian Communist Party.

2016年10月14日，马研院院长、党委书记邓纯东在意大利佛罗伦萨会见了新意大利共产党总书记玛乌洛·阿尔伯莱西，新意共中央委员会委员、国际部成员亚历山德罗·莱奥尼，新意共中央委员会委员弗朗切斯科·马林乔。

President Deng Chundun first extended congratulations to the New Italian Communist Party on its reorganization and to Mauro Alboresi on his successful election as General Secretary. President Deng Chundun stated that the Italian Communist Party has for many years consistently upheld its faith in Marxism and its pursuit of the socialist ideal, and has waged a meaningful and arduous struggle for this purpose; these fighting spirits and achievements deserve the admiration and study of Chinese Communists. Mauro stated that the New Italian Communist Party attaches great importance to inter-party exchanges with the Chinese Communist Party, especially the "China Path" Europe Forum conducted in the form of academic exchanges, and sincerely hopes that the New Italian Communist Party can have closer cooperation and exchanges with China.

邓纯东院长首先向意大利新共产党的重组及玛乌洛·阿尔伯莱西的成功当选总书记表示了祝贺。邓纯东院长表示，意大利共产党多年来始终坚持对马克思主义的信仰，对社会主义理想的追求，并为此进行了意义非凡、艰苦卓绝的斗争，这些奋斗精神和成果值得中国共产党人钦佩和学习。玛乌洛表示，意大利新共产党高度重视与中国共产党之间的党际交流，尤其是以学术交流形式进行的“中国道路”欧洲论坛，衷心希望意大利新共产党能与中国有更为密切的合作与交流。

Subsequently, Alessandro, a member of the Central Committee of the New Italian Communist Party, briefly introduced to the participating Chinese scholars the history and current situation of the Italian Communist Party. Comrade Alessandro stated that the reorganization of the New Italian Communist Party is an important historical opportunity for development and innovation; the New Italian Communist Party will actively commit itself to innovation in the development concepts of the Party and the state, striving to build the New Italian Communist Party into a scientific party with faith. General Secretary Mauro believes that, after a historical stage of dispersed development, the Italian Communist Party has ushered in the optimal timing for reorganization. The New Italian Communist Party will combine the experience of the international communist movement, especially drawing on China's development experience, to focus on solving the problems of poverty and employment under the structural crisis of capitalism; at the same time, the New Italian Communist Party will further strengthen cooperation with communist parties around the world, especially uniting communist parties in capitalist countries, to jointly confront the rule of global capitalism and the threat of capital terrorism, in order to respond to possible risks of war; the New Italian Communist Party will adhere to the principle of opposing war and seek regional and world peace.

随后，意大利新共产党中央委员会委员亚历山德罗向与会的中方学者简要介绍了意大利共产党的历史和现状。亚历山德罗委员表示，意大利新共产党的重新组建是一次发展创新的重要历史契机，新意共将积极致力于党和国家发展理念的创新，力图把新意共建设成一个有信仰的科学党派。玛乌洛总书记认为，在经历了分散发展的历史阶段后，意大利共产党迎来了重组的最佳时机，新意共将结合国际共产主义的运动经验，尤其借鉴中国的发展经验，着力解决资本主义结构性危机下的贫困与就业问题；与此同时，新意共还将进一步加强与世界各国共产党的合作，尤其要联合资本主义国家共产党，共同对抗全球资本主义的统治及资本恐怖主义的威胁，以应对可能的战争风险；新意共将坚持反战原则，谋求地区与世界和平。

Finally, the two sides concluded the discussion in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Tang Zhouyan, Party Secretary of the Shandong Academy of Social Sciences; Zhang Xinping, Vice Dean of the School of Marxism at Lanzhou University; Ding Xiaoqiang, Dean of the School of Marxism at Shanghai Tongji University; Ji Yongchao, Vice President of the Anhui Academy of Social Sciences; Yao Xiaoling, Vice Dean of the School of Marxism at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics; as well as Researcher Lü Weizhou, Director of the International Communist Movement Department of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Associate Researcher Li Jianguo; and Associate Researcher Jing Xianghui of the Institute of Information Studies, also participated in the discussion together.

最后，双方在热烈友好的气氛中结束了座谈。山东社科院党委书记唐洲雁、兰州大学马克思主义学院副院长张新平、上海同济大学马克思主义学院院长丁晓强、安徽省社科院副院长计永超、北京航空航天大学马克思主义学院副院长姚小玲及中国社科院马研院国际共运部主任吕薇洲研究员、李建国副研究员和信息情报院景向辉副研究员等一同参加了座谈。
