November 29: Party Secretary and President Deng Chundong Attends Central Symposium Marking the 130th Anniversary of Comrade Zhu De’s Birth

On the morning of November 29, 2016, the Central Committee of the CPC held a symposium in the Great Hall of the People to mark the 130th anniversary of Comrade Zhu De’s birth. General Secretary of the Central Committee, President of the state, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping delivered an important speech, stressing that the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation was the goal for which the older generation of revolutionaries and countless revolutionary forebears struggled throughout their lives. The entire Party, the entire military, and the people of all ethnic groups across the country must unite more closely around the Party Central Committee, be of one mind, forge ahead with determination, and strive tenaciously, continuing to advance the great cause pioneered by revolutionary predecessors and working hard to create an even more splendid and brilliant tomorrow.
