December 23: Dean and Party Secretary Deng Chundong Attends China-Vietnam Theoretical Seminar of the Two Parties and Delivers Speech

On December 23, 2016, the 12th China-Vietnam Theoretical Seminar of the Two Parties, themed “Challenges and Experiences in Strengthening Party Building under Conditions of Opening Up,” was convened in Hanoi. Liu Qibao, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, and Head of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Phạm Minh Chính, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, and Head of the Organization Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, delivered keynote reports at the seminar’s opening ceremony, introducing respectively the practices and experiences of the two parties in strengthening their own building.

2016年12月23日，以“对外开放条件下加强党的建设面临的挑战和经验”为主题的第十二次中越两党理论研讨会在河内召开。中共中央政治局委员、中央书记处书记、中宣部部长刘奇葆和越共中央政治局委员、中央书记处书记、中组部部长范明政在研讨会开幕式上作主旨报告，分别介绍了中越两党加强自身建设的做法和经验。

Deng Chundong, Dean and Party Secretary of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, attended the seminar and delivered a speech titled “Improving the Party’s Ability and Level to Lead Economic and Social Development under Complex Circumstances and Situations.”
