“Fourth China-Russia-Central and Eastern Europe Development Strategy Forum” Series of International Seminars Held in Moscow

People’s Daily Online, Moscow, June 9 (Reporter Zhang Xiaodong) On June 8, the third stop of the “Fourth China-Russia-Central and Eastern Europe Development Strategy Forum” series of international seminars arrived in Moscow, Russia, with the theme “Exploring New Models of Socio-Economic Development.” This is the fourth consecutive time the forum has been held in Moscow since 2014.

人民网莫斯科6月9日电（记者 张晓东） 6月8日，“第四届中国、俄罗斯、中东欧发展战略论坛”系列国际研讨会第三站来到俄罗斯莫斯科，此次研讨会的主题是“新的社会经济发展模式的探索”。这是自2014年以来该论坛连续第四次在莫斯科召开。

Scholars from multiple Chinese research institutes and universities, together with over 50 Russian scholars, gathered together. Under the joint chairmanship of Deng Chundong, President and Party Secretary of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Elena Lenchuk, Director of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, they engaged in lively discussions on topics including the different models of socio-economic development in China and Russia, the impact of the October Revolution on both countries, cooperation between China and Russia within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Eurasian Economic Union, and specific issues each country faces in its own development. The participating experts and scholars believed that face-to-face exchanges not only enhance understanding between scholars of the two countries and allow for more thorough discussion of issues of concern to scholars from both sides, but also provide a good model and experience for academic exchanges to go abroad.

来自中国的多家科研院所、高校的学者同俄罗斯学者50余人齐聚一堂，在中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院院长、党委书记邓纯东和俄罗斯科学院经济研究所所长叶列娜·列尼丘克的共同主持下，围绕中俄两国的经济社会发展的不同模式、十月革命对中俄两国的影响、中俄两国在一带一路和欧亚经济联盟框架下的合作以及两国各自发展中面临的一些具体问题等方面展开了热烈的讨论。与会专家学者认为面对面地交流不仅可以增进两国学者之间的了解，对于两国学者关心的问题可以展开更为充分的讨论，而且为学术交流走出国门提供了很好的模式和经验。
