On September 7, the Academy of Marxism Held a Thematic Party Lecture on Studying and Implementing the Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s July 26 Speech

In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the seminar for principal leading cadres at the provincial and ministerial level, and to make full ideological preparations for the successful convening of the 19th National Congress of the CPC, on September 7, 2017, Comrade Deng Chundong, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Academy of Marxism, delivered a thematic Party lecture titled “Unswervingly Adhere to the Theme of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics without Vacillation” to all cadres and staff of the Academy of Marxism.

为深入学习贯彻习近平总书记在省部级主要领导干部专题研讨班发表的重要讲话精神，为迎接十九大的胜利召开做好充分的思想动员，2017年9月7日，马克思主义研究院党委书记、院长邓纯东同志为马研院全体干部和职工做了“坚定不移地坚持中国特色社会主义这个主题不动摇”的专题党课。

Taking the historical evolution of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech as a starting point, with “socialism with Chinese characteristics” as the core concept, Comrade Deng Chundong critically analyzed both positive and negative experiences and lessons at home and abroad, and systematically demonstrated the inevitability of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics from five aspects.

邓纯东同志以习近平总书记讲话的历史沿革为开端，以“中国特色社会主义”为核心概念，批判性地分析了国际国内正反两方面经验和教训，从五个方面系统地论证了坚持和发展中国特色社会主义的必然性。
