Xinhua News Agency, Paris, October 9 (Reporter Han Bing) — The “China Path European Forum: China-Europe Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative,” co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the French Communist Party, and the Gabriel Péri Foundation, was held in Paris on the 9th. More than 100 experts and scholars from think tanks and research institutions in China and France attended.

新华社巴黎10月9日电（记者韩冰）由中国社会科学院、法国共产党、法国加布里埃尔·佩里基金会主办的“中国道路欧洲论坛——‘一带一路’倡议下的中欧合作”9日在巴黎举行，来自中法两国智库和研究机构的专家学者等100余人出席。

Lydia Samarbakhsh, head of international relations for the French Communist Party, stated in her opening address at the forum that the Belt and Road Initiative provides an inspiring new form of cooperation for global development. Under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, the development of infrastructure construction will promote the comprehensive development of countries and regions along the route.

法国共产党国际关系事务负责人莉迪亚·萨玛巴什在论坛开幕式上致辞说，“一带一路”倡议为全球发展提供了具有启迪意义的合作新形式，在“一带一路”框架下，基础设施建设的发展将会推动沿线国家和地区的综合发展。

Deng Chundong, President of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, stated in his address that the principle of the Belt and Road Initiative is to uphold extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits, and to uphold equality and mutual benefit. It is not a zero-sum game, but is truly aimed at the well-being of the people of the world.

中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院院长邓纯东在致辞中说，“一带一路”倡议的原则是坚持共商、共建、共享，坚持平等互利，不是零和博弈，而是真正为了世界人民的福祉。

The “China Path European Forum” was founded in 2014 and holds sessions in France, Spain, and Italy. The forum aims to strengthen China-Europe academic exchanges, increase European society’s understanding of China, and promote friendship and cooperation between the two sides.

“中国道路欧洲论坛”创办于2014年，在法国、西班牙和意大利设有会场。论坛旨在加强中欧学术交流，增加欧洲社会对中国了解，促进双方友谊合作。

During this year’s forum, experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shandong Academy of Social Sciences, the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau, China University of Political Science and Law, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhengzhou University, Anhui University, Henan Normal University, as well as the Governing Body of the International Labour Organization and the American University of Paris, conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics including the Belt and Road Initiative, labor rights, international security, and international cooperation.

今年论坛举办期间，来自中国社会科学院、山东社会科学院、中央编译局、中国政法大学、浙江工业大学、郑州大学、安徽大学、河南师范大学以及国际劳工组织理事会、巴黎美国大学等机构的专家学者围绕“一带一路”倡议、劳动权、国际安全、国际合作等问题，进行了深入交流和讨论。

Participants unanimously agreed that, in the face of the various problems emerging in global governance today, countries should strengthen multi-level exchanges and discussions. European countries, including France, should learn more about the Belt and Road Initiative, promote the deepening of China-Europe cooperation, and advance the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

与会人士一致认为，面对当今全球治理出现的种种问题，各国应加强多层次交流和讨论，包括法国在内的欧洲国家应该更多了解“一带一路”倡议，推动中欧深化合作，促进人类命运共同体建设。
