第四届“中国道路欧洲论坛”在意大利举行

Xinhua News Agency, Rome, October 13 (Reporter Wang Xingqiao) — The “China Road Europe Forum” (Italian session), co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Antonio Gramsci Foundation of Italy and other institutions, was held in Rome on the 13th, with over 100 experts and scholars from higher education institutions and think tanks in China and Italy in attendance.

新华社罗马10月13日电（记者王星桥）由中国社会科学院和意大利葛兰西基金会等机构主办的“中国道路欧洲论坛”（意大利会场）13日在罗马举行，来自中意两国高等学府和智库的专家学者等100余人出席。

The “China Road Europe Forum” was founded in 2014 and holds sessions in Spain, France, and Italy. This year marks its fourth edition, with the theme “China-Europe Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.” The forum aims to strengthen academic exchanges between China and Europe, enhance European society’s understanding of China, and promote friendship and cooperation between the two sides.

“中国道路欧洲论坛”创办于2014年，在西班牙、法国和意大利均设有会场，今年是第四届，论坛的主题为“‘一带一路’倡议下的中欧合作”。论坛旨在加强中欧学术交流，增加欧洲社会对中国的了解，促进双方的友谊合作。

Silvio Pons, President of the Gramsci Foundation and Professor of History at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, stated at the forum that the Belt and Road Initiative is a pioneering undertaking in today’s world, with grand objectives and a broad geographical scope. It benefits not only economic and trade cooperation but also helps promote exchanges in culture and other fields. China and Italy should pursue multi-field, all-round cooperation along this path.

葛兰西基金会主席、罗马第二大学历史系教授西尔维奥·彭斯在论坛上表示，“一带一路”倡议是当今世界的创举，目标宏伟，涉及地域广泛，不仅有益于经贸合作，也有助于推动文化等各领域的交流。意中双方应沿着这一道路展开多领域、全方位的合作。

Deng Chundong, President of the Academy of Marxism at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said that although information is abundant in today’s society, European media coverage of China’s situation is not comprehensive and is even biased. In-depth exchanges between China and Europe are necessary. He expressed hope for more exchanges between China and Italy to promote bilateral cooperation.

中国社科院马克思主义研究院院长邓纯东表示，当今社会虽然资讯发达，但欧洲媒体对中国情况的报道并不全面，甚至出现偏差，中欧之间需要进行深入交流。希望中意双方有更多交流，促进双边合作。

Zheng Xuan, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Italy, stated in her address that Italy was the terminus of the ancient Silk Road and is an important hub for the Belt and Road Initiative. It has its own advantages and specialties in many fields, and there are also numerous points of convergence for future development between the two countries. China is willing to work hand in hand with Italy, seize opportunities, and ensure that China-Italy relations develop steadily and far-reachingly.

中国驻意使馆公参郑璇在致辞时表示，意大利是古代丝绸之路的终点和“一带一路”的重要枢纽，在众多领域有自己的优势和特长，两国未来发展也存在不少契合之处。中方愿与意方携手合作，抓住机遇，让中意关系行稳致远。

Italian scholar Palanti, who attended the forum, said that the Belt and Road Initiative is concrete, not abstract, and is conducive to the development of Eurasia relations. It has unlimited potential and vitality, and the multiple advantages it generates will certainly benefit world peace and prosperity.

与会的意大利学者帕兰蒂表示，“一带一路”倡议是现实的，不是抽象的，有利于欧亚关系的发展，具有无限的潜力和生机，所形成的多种优势必将有利于世界的和平与繁荣。

Scholars and officials from institutions and universities including the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Ministry of Education, Nanjing Normal University, Northeast Normal University, China University of Political Science and Law, Nanjing University, as well as the University of Siena, the University of Naples “L’Orientale,” the Italian Association for Marxist Political Culture of the 21st Century, and the Italian Communist Party, delivered special presentations and held discussions on topics such as the Belt and Road Initiative, economic and political ties between China and the European Union, and the construction of a new type of globalization.

来自中国社科院、教育部、南京师范大学、东北师范大学、中国政法大学、南京大学等机构和高校，以及意大利锡耶纳大学、那不勒斯东方大学、意大利二十一世纪马克思政治文化协会、意大利共产党等的学者和官员围绕“一带一路”倡议、中国与欧盟的经济政治联系、新型全球化的构建等问题，进行了专题发言和讨论。
