October 9, 2017: The Fourth China Road Europe Forum Held in France

On October 9, 2017, the Fourth China Road Europe Forum (French venue) was convened in Paris, France. The French venue of the forum was hosted by the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the French Communist Party, and the Gabriel Péri Foundation of France, co-organized by the Shandong Academy of Social Sciences, the French Research Center for Social Thought, the French journal *La Pensée*, and the French journal *Futuribles*, and supported by the French newspaper *L’Humanité*, the Theory Department of the Chinese newspaper *People’s Daily*, and the editorial office of the Chinese journal *Studies on Marxism*. Over 100 experts and scholars from think tanks and research institutions in China and France attended this forum. The theme of this forum was “China-Europe Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.” More than thirty scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Shandong Academy of Social Sciences, the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau, China University of Political Science and Law, Nanjing Normal University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhengzhou University, Anhui University, Henan Normal University, as well as from the International Labour Organization Governing Body, UN experts, and the American University of Paris, conducted in-depth, extensive, and candid exchanges and discussions on topics such as the prospects of the Belt and Road Initiative, the reconfiguration of labor rights, international security, and new forms of international cooperation.

2017年10月9日，第四届中国道路欧洲论坛（法国会场）在法国巴黎召开。法国会场的论坛由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、法国共产党、法国加布里尔•佩里基金会主办，山东社会科学院、法国社会思潮研究中心、法国《思想》杂志、法国《未来设想》杂志协办，并得到法国《人道报》、中国《人民日报》理论部、中国《马克思主义研究》编辑部的支持。来自中法两国智库和研究机构的专家学者等100余人出席本届论坛。本届论坛的主题为“一带一路”倡议下的中欧合作。来自中国社会科学院、山东社会科学院、中央编译局、中国政法大学、南京师范大学、浙江工业大学、郑州大学、安徽大学、河南师范大学，以及国际劳工组织理事会、联合国问题专家、巴黎美国大学等单位的三十多位学者围绕着“一带一路”的前景、劳动权的重新洗牌、国际安全、国际合作的新形式等问题，进行了深入、广泛、坦诚的交流和讨论。

中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院院长、党委书记邓纯东研究员代表了主办方进行了致辞。邓纯东研究员指出，“一带一路”问题，得到联合国和国际社会193个国家的广泛响应。习近平主席提出的“一带一路”倡议既不是殖民主义者开拓海外市场，也不是马歇尔计划的翻版，也不是新自由主义的全球化，而是一种新型的全球化战略。“一带一路”的原则是共建共商共享，坚持平等互利，不是零和博弈，不搞意识形态输出，不是搞利益集团，而是为了世界人民的福祉。当前，世界出现了和平赤字、发展赤字、世界治理赤字的问题，我们必须构建人类命运共同体，摒弃过去单极化的思维、冷战思维，抛弃霸权主义，构建新的全球治理秩序。

Lydia Samarbakhsh, the person in charge of international relations for the French Communist Party, introduced the situation in France while presiding over the opening ceremony of the forum. She spoke about President Macron’s determination to reform the labor law, the defense budget, and other areas after taking office, which has also elevated the status of foreign trade in France’s economic development. The participating experts unanimously agreed that we must advocate for an inclusive globalization and forge a fair, just, and peaceful process of globalization; we must strengthen multi-level exchanges and discussions so that Europeans, and the French in particular, can gain a greater understanding of the Belt and Road Initiative, promote China-Europe cooperation, advance the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, and enable the people along the route to obtain more tangible benefits.

与会专家一致认为，我们必须主张一个包容性的全球化，铸造一个公平公正和平的全球化进程；必须加强多层次的交流和讨论，让欧洲人，让法国人更多地了解“一带一路”倡议，促进中欧合作，促进人类命运共同体的构建，让沿线人民得到更多的实惠。
