2019 Editorial Board Meeting of *Marxist Studies* Convened in Beijing

On 27 April, the 2019 Editorial Board Meeting of *Marxist Studies* was convened in Room 218 of the Administrative Building of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The meeting was chaired by Fan Jianxin, Deputy Director of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and was divided into three segments: keynote speeches, editorial board discussion, and concluding remarks.

4月27日，2019年《马克思主义研究》编委会议在中国社会科学院行政楼218室召开。会议由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院副院长樊建新主持，共分为主旨发言、编委讨论、总结发言三个环节。

In the keynote speech segment, Jiang Hui, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Director of the Institute of Contemporary China Studies, concurrently Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Academy of Marxism, and Director of the Editorial Board and Editor-in-Chief of *Marxist Studies*, delivered an address and speech. Tan Xiaojun, Director of the Editorial Office, introduced the journal’s development. Liu Pu, Director of the Journal Division of the Scientific Research Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, introduced the journal management situation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

All unanimously expressed that they would fulfill their duties as editorial board members, offer advice and suggestions for the journal, and make *Marxist Studies* better and better.

Finally, Xin Xiangyang, Deputy Director of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in charge of *Marxist Studies*, delivered concluding remarks. He thanked the editorial board members for their speeches and pertinent suggestions, and urged the editorial office to strengthen political awareness and sense of work responsibility, proactively solicit and organize manuscripts, improve the review and editing mechanism, and make the journal a truly authoritative publication.

最后，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院《马克思主义研究》杂志分管副院长辛向阳做了总结发言，他感谢编委们的发言和中肯建议，并寄语编辑部要增强政治意识、工作责任感，主动约稿、组稿，完善审编机制，把期刊办成名副其实的权威刊物。
