July 25: Academy of Marxism Conveys and Studies the Spirit of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2019 Summer Thematic Seminar

On July 25, the Academy of Marxism held a meeting of all staff to convey, study, and implement the spirit of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2019 Summer Thematic Seminar. Party Secretary and Vice President Fan Jianxin presided over the meeting and conveyed the spirit of the thematic seminar. Vice Presidents Xin Xiangyang and Jia Chaoning attended the meeting. All cadres and staff of the Academy of Marxism participated in the meeting.

Party Secretary and Vice President Fan Jianxin conveys the spirit of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2019 Summer Thematic Seminar

党委书记、副院长樊建新传达中国社科院2019年度暑期专题研讨班精神

Comrade Fan Jianxin conveyed the spirit of President Xie Fuzhan’s mobilization speech titled “Bear in Mind the Original Aspiration and Founding Mission, Strive to Accelerate the Construction of the ‘Three Systems’” [1]1 The “Three Systems” (三大体系) refers to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences’ framework of disciplines, academic systems, and discourse systems.; conveyed the spirit of the speech by Vice President and Deputy Party Secretary Wang Jingqing titled “Focus on the Fundamental Tasks, Firmly Grasp the Main Line, and Solidly Advance Our Institute’s ‘Bear in Mind the Original Aspiration and Founding Mission’ Theme Education” [2]2 “Original aspiration and founding mission” (初心使命) is a standard term from Xi Jinping’s political discourse, referring; and conveyed the explanation by Vice President and Party Leadership Group Member Cai Fang regarding the investigation and analysis report on discipline and talent construction.

樊建新同志传达了谢伏瞻院长题为“牢记初心使命 为加快构建‘三大体系’而奋斗”的动员讲话精神，传达了副院长、党组副书记王京清同志题为“聚焦根本任务 牢牢把握主线 扎实推进我院‘不忘初心、牢记使命’主题教育”的讲话精神，传达了副院长、党组成员蔡昉同志就学科与人才建设调查分析报告的情况作的说明。

After conveying the spirit of the thematic seminar, Party Secretary Fan Jianxin delivered a special Party lecture on theme education to all Party member cadres and staff. Wu Shangmin, head of the Fourth Guidance Group for the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Theme Education, and member Shi Lei attended.
