The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Marxism Sichuan Guang’an Cooperative Research Base Inauguration Ceremony and the Deng Xiaoping Cadre Academy “Summarizing a Century of Party History, Opening Up a Completely New Future” Theoretical Seminar Convened at the Deng Xiaoping Cadre Academy

In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important “July 1” speech [1], deeply understand the great achievements and historical experience gained since the founding of the Party a century ago, profoundly commemorate Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s historical contributions, conduct in-depth exchanges on the use of red culture [2] in various localities to carry out Party spirit education and on the functioning of various research bases, and further leverage efforts to enhance the teaching, research, and advisory levels of the Deng Xiaoping Cadre Academy, on September 26, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Marxism Sichuan Guang’an Cooperative Research Base Inauguration Ceremony and the Deng Xiaoping Cadre Academy “Summarizing a Century of Party History, Opening Up a Completely New Future” Theoretical Seminar were convened at the Deng Xiaoping Cadre Academy. Xin Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Marxism, and Hong Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Guang’an Municipal Committee of the CPC and Minister of the Propaganda Department, attended the meeting.

为深入学习贯彻习近平总书记“七一”重要讲话精神，深刻认识建党百年取得的伟大成就和历史经验，深切缅怀邓小平同志的历史功绩，深入交流各地利用红色文化开展党性教育情况以及各调研基地作用发挥情况，进一步借力提升小平干部学院教学科研咨政水平，9月26日，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院四川广安合作研究基地授牌仪式暨小平干部学院“总结百年党史 开辟全新未来”理论研讨会在小平干部学院召开。中国社科院马克思主义研究院党委书记辛向阳，中共广安市委常委、宣传部部长洪丽出席会议。

Hong Li, on behalf of the Guang’an Municipal Committee, extended warm congratulations on the holding of this inauguration ceremony, extended sincere welcome to the leaders and guests attending the theoretical seminar, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Marxism for its long-standing concern and support for Guang’an. Hong Li also accepted the plaque for the Sichuan Guang’an Cooperative Research Base from Secretary Xin Xiangyang on behalf of the academy. The meeting then held the award ceremony for the winning papers of the “Summarizing a Century of Party History, Opening Up a Completely New Future” Deng Xiaoping Cadre Academy Cup essay competition.

中国社科院马克思主义研究院党委书记辛向阳结合习近平总书记“七一”重要讲话精神作专题报告会。辛向阳从“七一”讲话的鲜明特色谈起，结合我国发展历程深刻解读了党团结带领人民取得的“四个伟大成就”，领会了中国共产党人为中华人民谋幸福，为中华民族谋复兴的无比自信以及伟大斗争精神，点明了习近平总书记“七一”讲话的重要性。在此基础上，他以扎实的理论功底深入阐释了习近平总书记“七一”重要讲话中的重大理论创新。报告会既有政治站位的高度，又有历史的厚度和理论的深度，让大家品尝了一道“色香味形意养”俱全的“精神大餐”。

That afternoon, the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences also held the 2021 Joint Meeting of National Conditions Research Bases. Representatives from each base exchanged speeches on the study of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on July 1, the practice of carrying out Party history learning and education activities, and the role played by each base. Five representatives of the authors of award-winning papers in the Xiaoping Cadre Academy Cup essay contest shared and exchanged views on the content of their award-winning papers.

当天下午，中国社科院马克思主义研究院还举行了2021年国情调研基地联席会议，各基地代表围绕学习习近平总书记“七一”重要讲话精神情况、开展党史学习教育活动实践情况以及各基地的作用发挥情况进行了交流发言。5位小平干部学院杯征文比赛获奖论文作者代表就获奖论文内容做了分享交流。

More than 80 people participated in the event, including relevant experts and scholars from the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; leaders and representatives from the National Conditions Research Bases of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; representatives of authors of papers selected for the theoretical seminar; representatives from relevant municipal departments; members of the leadership teams of Party schools of various counties (cities, districts) and Xiaoping Cadre Academy; heads of departments (centers); and teachers of the academy.

中国社科院马克思主义研究院相关专家学者，以及来自中国社科院马克思主义研究院国情调研基地的领导和代表、理论研讨会入选论文作者代表、市级相关部门代表、各县（市、区）委党校、小平干部学院领导班子成员、部（中心）负责人、学院教师等80余人参加了活动。
