The Academy of Marxism Holds a Study and Exchange Meeting on the Spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC

On the morning of December 8, the Academy of Marxism held a study and exchange meeting on the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC. Comrade Xin Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, Comrade Gong Yun, Vice President, and Comrade Yu Junxiao, Vice President, attended the meeting. All cadres and scholars of the Academy of Marxism participated.

12月8日上午，马研院召开党的十九届六中全会精神学习交流会，党委书记、副院长辛向阳同志，副院长龚云同志、于俊霄同志出席会议，马研院全体干部学者参会。

Vice President Comrade Gong Yun first delivered an exchange speech titled “A Marxist Historical Document That Can Withstand the Test of History,” and Vice President Comrade Yu Junxiao delivered an exchange speech titled “The Action Guide for Realizing the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation—Reflections on Studying the ‘Resolution’.”

Comrade Chen Zhigang, Director of the Research Department on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, delivered an exchange speech titled “The Centenary Struggle of the CPC and the New Form of Human Civilization”; Comrade Yu Bin, Director of the Research Department on the Principles of Marxism, delivered an exchange speech titled “A Comparison of the Three Historical Resolutions and Their Implications” [1]1 The “three historical resolutions” refer to the Resolution on Certain Historical Questions adopted at the Seventh Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee of the CPC in 1945, the Resolution on Certain Historical Questions since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China adopted at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee in 1981, and the Resolution on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party’s Centenary Struggle adopted at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee in 2021.; Comrade He Xinyuan, Deputy Director of the Research Department on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context, delivered an exchange speech titled “Understanding the Fundamental Questions of the CPC”; Comrade Pan Jin’e, Director of the Research Department on the International Communist Movement, delivered an exchange speech titled “Promoting the Important Experience of the Party’s Century-Long Diplomatic Work and Advancing the Building of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind”; and Comrade Yu Haiqing, Deputy Director of the Research Department on the Study of Marxism Abroad, delivered an exchange speech titled “The Major Significance of the Historical Experience of the CPC’s Century-Long Struggle from the Perspective of a Comparison of World Political Parties.”

习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究部主任陈志刚同志以“中国共产党的百年奋斗和人类文明新形态”为题，马克思主义原理研究部主任余斌同志以“三个历史决议的比较及其启示”为题，马克思主义中国化研究部副主任贺新元同志以“对中国共产党的根本问题的认识”为题，国际共产主义运动研究部主任潘金娥同志以“弘扬党的百年外交工作的重要经验，推动构建人类命运共同体”为题，国外马克思主义研究部副主任于海青同志以“从世界政党比较看中国共产党百年奋斗历史经验的重大意义”为题分别做交流发言。

In his concluding remarks, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President Comrade Xin Xiangyang emphasized that the Academy of Marxism’s study of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC should fully leverage disciplinary advantages. On the basis of thoroughly studying and deeply understanding the spirit of the document, it should use Marxist positions, viewpoints, and methods to analyze problems, conduct in-depth research and interpretation, produce a batch of high-quality research results, enhance research capabilities through theoretical study, and further promote the high-quality development of all work of the Academy of Marxism.

党委书记、副院长辛向阳同志在总结发言中强调，马研院学习党的十九届六中全会精神要充分发挥学科优势，在学深悟透文件精神的基础上，用马克思主义的立场、观点、方法分析问题，开展深入的研究阐释，推出一批高质量的研究成果，在理论学习中提升研究能力，进一步推动马研院各项工作高质量发展。
