Call for Papers for the 17th National Conference of Marxist Deans

In order to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 2025 National People's Congress and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference sessions [1]1 The "two sessions" (两会) refer to the annual plenary meetings of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), typically held in March, where major national policies and the government work report are reviewed and approved., continuously deepen the understanding of the laws governing the Party's theoretical innovation, further expand and deepen the systematic construction and theoretical elucidation of the Party's innovative theory, and more prominently demonstrate the truth-power of contemporary Chinese Marxism and twenty-first-century Marxism, the 17th National Conference of Marxist Deans is scheduled to be held on June 20-22, 2025, at Nanchang Hangkong University. The conference theme is "Systematization and Theorization of the Party's Innovative Theory."

为深入学习贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想和2025年全国两会精神，不断深化对党的理论创新的规律性认识，进一步深化拓展党的创新理论的体系化建构和学理化阐释，更加彰显当代中国马克思主义、二十一世纪马克思主义的真理力量，第十七届全国马克思主义院长论坛拟于2025年6月20-22日在南昌航空大学举行，论坛主题为“党的创新理论体系化学理化”。

This conference will closely focus on the meeting theme and discuss the following topics in depth:

We now sincerely invite teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, universities and colleges, and Party and government departments to actively submit papers. Paper requirements: 1. Correct stance, clear theme, rigorous logic, integration of history and theory, reflecting academic quality and innovation, with high theoretical and practical value; 2. The paper must be a new work not yet published, with a minimum of 8,000 characters, accompanied by an abstract (approximately 500 characters), keywords (3-5), author biography, and detailed contact information. This conference adopts a "paper-based participation" method. The deadline for paper submission is June 1, 2025. The electronic version of the paper should be sent in WORD format to the email address: mnsh2019@163.com (Contact person: Ms. Yang, Institute of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences).

现诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学和研究人员积极投稿。稿件要求：1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值；2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数不少于8000字，正文前附内容摘要（500字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介及详细联系方式。本次论坛采取以文入会方式，论文投稿截止日期为2025年6月1日。论文电子版请以WORD文档形式发送至电子邮箱：mnsh2019@163.com（联系人：中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院杨老师）。

After evaluation by the expert review committee, invitation letters for the conference will be sent to selected authors no later than mid-June. The conference will select outstanding papers for compilation and publication, and recommend them for publication in *Marxist Studies*.

投稿论文经专家评审委员会评选后，不迟于6月中旬向入选者发出会议邀请函。会议将遴选优秀论文结集出版，并向《马克思主义研究》推荐发表。
