Academy of Marxism Holds “Childlike Hearts to the Party, Salute to Heroes” International Children’s Day Event
马研院举办“童心向党 致敬英雄”六一国际儿童节活动
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, to cultivate children’s patriotic sentiments from an early age, and to display the new spiritual outlook of children in the New Era, upon approval from the academy leadership, the Trade Union and the Women’s Work Committee of the Academy of Marxism held a “Childlike Hearts to the Party, Salute to Heroes” hand-copied newspaper drawing activity from June 1 to 15, 2025. Through the production of hand-copied newspapers, the “Little Marxes” [1]1 “Little Marxes” (马小花) is a colloquial, affectionate term used within the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and its affiliated Academy of Marxism to refer to the children of staff members, playing on the character “马” (Ma, as in Marx/Marxism) and the idea of young “flowers” (花). commemorated the martyrs, saluted the heroes, and expressed their patriotic feelings.
为了纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年，从小培养孩子们的爱国情怀，展现新时代少年儿童崭新精神风貌，经请示院领导，马研院工会、妇工委于2025年6月1日-15日举办了“童心向党 致敬英雄”手抄报绘制活动。“马小花”们借助手抄报的制作，缅怀先烈，致敬英雄，抒发爱国之情。

The activity was welcomed by the academy’s staff and the “Little Marxes.” Everyone actively participated and carefully drew, with a total of 38 works received. Through methods such as figure painting, poetry writing, and story drawing, the “Little Marxes” deeply felt that today’s happy life was hard-won, which inspired the children’s love for the Party and the nation, and fostered the aspiration to serve the country from an early age.
活动受到我院职工和“马小花”们的欢迎。大家积极参与，精心绘制，共收到作品38份。借助人物绘画、诗词书写、故事绘制等方式，“马小花”们倍感今天的幸福生活来之不易，激发少年儿童爱党爱国热情，从小树立报国之志。

It is reported that the “Childlike Hearts to the Party, Salute to Heroes” hand-copied newspaper drawing works will be produced together with the academy’s “Paper-cutting Recalls the Glorious Years, Women Bloom with Splendor” female staff paper-cutting works, and will be displayed at an opportune time.
据悉，“童心向党 致敬英雄”手抄报绘制作品将同本院“剪纸忆峥嵘 巾帼绽芳华”的女职工剪纸作品一同制作，择机展示。
