To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, to carry forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance, and to deeply implement the study and education on the Eight-Point Regulations [1]1 The Eight-Point Regulations: A set of rules issued by the CPC Central Committee in 2012 to improve Party conduct, requiring frugality and opposing formalism and bureaucracy., on July 22, 45 Party-member cadres from the Retired Party Branch and the Administrative Party Branch of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences braved the heat to go to the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression to visit the exhibition "For National Liberation and World Peace — Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War." They also went to Fangshan District to visit the exhibition "Great Historical Changes and Pioneers of the Times — Han Village River Comprehensive Construction of a Socialist Modernized New Countryside."

为纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年，弘扬伟大抗战精神，深入贯彻中央八项规定精神学习教育，7月22日中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院离退休党支部和行政党支部的党员干部45人，冒着酷暑，赴中国人民抗日战争纪念馆，参观“为了民族解放与世界和平——纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年主题展览”，又赴房山区参观“历史巨变 时代先锋——韩村河全面建设社会主义现代化新农村主题展览”。

Through 1,525 photos and 3,237 cultural relics, restored scenes, and multimedia displays and other forms, they reviewed the Chinese nation's 14 years of arduous and extraordinary War of Resistance, a magnificent epic of bloody struggle and unyielding perseverance.
