2025 National Annual Conference on the Study of Marxist Principles Convened at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications

In order to thoroughly study and implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee, and to deepen research on major theoretical and practical issues concerning artificial intelligence and Chinese-path modernization, the 2025 National Annual Conference on the Study of Marxist Principles, together with the Academic Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Chinese-Path Modernization, was successfully convened at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications on September 20. Li Lin, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications; Luo Wendong, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; and Li Linqi, Director of the Propaganda and Education Department of the Chongqing Municipal Education Work Committee and the Municipal Education Commission, attended the conference and delivered addresses. The opening ceremony was presided over by Wu Anchun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

为深入学习贯彻党的二十大和二十届二中、三中全会精神，深化人工智能与中国式现代化重大理论与实践问题研究，2025年全国马克思主义原理研究年会暨人工智能与中国式现代化学术研讨会于9月20日在重庆邮电大学顺利召开。重庆邮电大学党委书记李林、中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院党委书记罗文东，重庆市委教育工委、市教委宣教处处长李林齐出席会议并致辞。会议开幕式由重庆邮电大学党委副书记伍安春主持。

Li Lin pointed out that the problem-orientation of science and technology has always been an important thread and intellectual source for the development of Marxist theory. Relying on its distinctive advantages in information science and technology, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications is making dedicated efforts to forge a "new liberal arts" characteristic that integrates modern information technology with Marxist theory, condensing and forming distinctive research fields such as online social trends, digital ideological and political education, online culture, and smart Party building. It is focusing on building research platforms such as the Internet Big Data Public Opinion Research Platform and the Chongqing Municipal University Digital Ideological and Political Education Experimental Innovation Center, and has cultivated a faculty team that deeply integrates the traditional strengths of ideological and political education with modern information technology. 李林指出，科技的问题导向一直是马克思主义理论发展的重要脉络和思想源头。重庆邮电大学依托信息科学技术特色优势，着力打造现代信息技术+马克思主义理论的“新文科”特色，凝练形成网络社会思潮、数字思政、网络文化和智慧党建等特色研究领域，重点建设互联网大数据舆情科研平台、重庆市高校数字思政实验创新中心等科研平台，打造了一支将思想政治教育传统优势与现代信息技术深度融合的师资队伍。学校将以本次年会为契机，加强与各兄弟高校、企业以及科研机构之间的交流合作，加强与各位专家、学者的交流互鉴，携手推动哲学社会科学研究范式转变，促进信息学科与马克思主义理论学科的深度融合，推进马克思主义学科领域人才培养的创新发展，共同为人工智能时代马克思主义理论守正创新贡献智慧力量。

Luo Wendong pointed out that the National Annual Conference on the Study of Marxist Principles originated from the "National Forum on Basic Marxist Principles" hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and was adjusted to the "National Annual Conference on the Study of Marxist Principles" in 2024. Since its inception in 2013, it has been successfully held for twelve sessions. Over more than a decade, with the strong support of academic colleagues, the National Forum and Annual Conference on Marxist Principles have achieved great successes and made significant contributions to the disciplinary construction of the basic principles of Marxism at the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It is hoped that this annual conference will adhere to the "Two For" direction [1]1 The "Two For" direction (二为方向) refers to the policy that literature and art should serve the people and serve socialism., the "Double Hundred" policy [2]2 The "Double Hundred" policy (双百方针) refers to "letting a hundred flowers bloom and a hundred schools of thought contend," a policy for promoting progress in the arts and sciences., and the "Two Creations" principle [3]3 The "Two Creations" principle (两创原则) refers to the principle of "creative transformation and innovative development" of fine traditional Chinese culture., implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee, base itself on the flourishing great practice of artificial intelligence and Chinese-path modernization, uphold Marxist standpoints, viewpoints, and methods, draw lessons from the experiences and lessons of other countries in developing artificial intelligence and modernization, study and explore the essential requirements of China's development of artificial intelligence and the laws of development of Chinese-path modernization, and contribute new wisdom and strength to constructing a theoretical system of socialist modernization with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as its banner and soul, and to comprehensively advancing the great cause of building a strong country and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Li Linqi pointed out that in recent years, the Chongqing Municipal Education Work Committee has attached great importance to philosophy and social sciences work in universities, adhering to the Party's overall leadership over philosophy and social sciences, insisting on taking Marxism as the guide, centering on educating and cultivating talent, and focusing on the study of the Party's innovative theories, promoting high-quality development of philosophy and social sciences. Remarkable results have been achieved in forging souls and educating people, theoretical research has yielded fruitful results, and the scientific research team has grown increasingly, achieving good work results. Currently, artificial intelligence has become an important force in advancing Chinese-path modernization.
