Work Meeting of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Thought-Theory Writing Group Held in Beijing

On the morning of November 25, 2025, the work meeting of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Thought-Theory Writing Group was held in the academy’s academic lecture hall. The meeting was chaired by Researcher Luo Wendong, Party Secretary of the Institute of Marxism. More than 80 representatives of writing group members from various units under the academy attended.

2025年11月25日上午，中国社会科学院思想理论写作组工作会议在院学术报告厅召开。会议由马克思主义研究院党委书记罗文东研究员主持。院属各单位写作组成员代表80余人参会。

Luo Wendong first welcomed the attending leaders and experts and expressed gratitude for their long-term support for the writing group’s work. He pointed out that this meeting aimed to adapt to new circumstances and new requirements, further strengthen the team, build consensus, clarify tasks, and push the writing group’s work to a new level.

罗文东首先对与会领导与专家表示欢迎，并对大家长期以来对写作组工作的支持表示感谢。他指出，本次会议旨在适应新形势新要求，进一步壮大队伍、凝聚共识、明确任务，推动写作组工作迈上新台阶。

Researcher Cui Weihang, Executive Director of the CASS Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and President of the Institute of Marxism, introduced the overall situation, main achievements, and work experience of the academy’s publication of theoretical articles in the central “three newspapers and one journal”[1]1 The “three newspapers and one journal” (三报一刊) refers to the People’s Daily, Guangming Daily, Qiushi Journal, and the PLA Daily, the four most authoritative central Party media outlets for publishing theoretical articles. under the center’s name. He hoped that experts would continue to support the center’s work and publish more articles under the center’s name.

Researcher Mo Jihong, Member of the CASS Academic Division, Joint Deputy Party Secretary of the Institute of Law and the Institute of International Law, and Director of the Institute of Law; Researcher Gong Yun, Party Secretary of the Institute of Economics; Researcher Feng Weijiang, Party Secretary and Director of the Institute of Information and Intelligence; Researcher Zhang Shuhua, Director of the Institute of Political Science; Researcher Yuan Lei, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Chinese Academy of History; Senior Editor Zhao Jianying, former Party Secretary and Director of the CASS Press; Researcher Wei Nanzhi, Deputy Director of the Bureau of International Cooperation; Researcher Liu Zhiming, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Deputy Director of the Institute of Philosophy; Researcher Zhi Zhenfeng, Director of the Law Library Branch of the Institute of Law; Researcher Wang Guang, Director of the Office of Marxist Historical Theory Research at the Institute of Historical Theory; Researcher Gao Lingyun, Director of the Editorial Department of *The World Economy* at the Institute of World Economics and Politics; and Associate Researcher Yang Ge from the Institute of Population and Labor Economics delivered exchange speeches. They shared their experiences, insights, and practices in publishing theoretical articles in the “three newspapers and one journal,” and offered opinions and suggestions on how to further optimize the writing group’s working mechanism, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, improve article quality, and better serve the Party’s theoretical innovation and practical development. All agreed that the writing group had played an important role over the past decade, providing a high-level platform for research, interpretation, and exchange for scholars at the academy. This meeting unified thinking, clarified direction, and consolidated strength, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the academy’s thought-theory writing group at a new starting point.

中国社会科学院学部委员、法学所国际法所联合党委副书记、法学研究所所长莫纪宏研究员，经济研究所党委书记龚云研究员，信息情报研究院党委书记、院长冯维江研究员，政治学研究所所长张树华研究员，中国历史研究院党委常委、副院长原磊研究员，中国社会科学出版社原党委书记、社长赵剑英编审，国际合作局副局长魏南枝研究员，哲学研究所纪委书记、副所长刘志明研究员，法学研究所图书馆法学分馆馆长支振锋研究员，历史理论研究所马克思主义历史理论研究室主任王广研究员，世界经济与政治研究所《世界经济》编辑部主任高凌云研究员，人口与劳动经济研究所杨舸副研究员做了交流发言，分享了在“三报一刊”发表理论文章的心得体会、做法经验，并就如何进一步优化写作组工作机制、加强跨学科协作、提升文章质量、更好服务党的理论创新与实践发展提出意见和建议。大家一致认为，写作组在过去十年发挥了重要作用，为我院学者提供了高水平的研究阐释与交流平台。这次会议统一了思想、明确了方向、凝聚了力量，为我院思想理论写作组在新起点上实现高质量发展奠定了坚实基础。

In his concluding remarks, Luo Wendong emphasized that, facing the new mission of the New Era, the writing group must closely focus on the primary task of deeply studying, researching, and interpreting Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and concentrate on advancing the systematic and academic research and interpretation of the Party’s innovative theories and on building an autonomous knowledge system for Chinese philosophy and social sciences. The writing group must earnestly implement the deployment of the Party Group of the Academy, continue to advance the work of publishing theoretical articles in the central “three newspapers and one journal” under the academy’s center name, and continuously improve article quality and influence; solidly carry out the writing, publication, and organization of the “two types of articles”[2]2 The “two types of articles” (两类文章) refers to theoretical articles and research reports, two distinct genres of output expected from the writing group.; implement assigned writing tasks, organize key theoretical articles, and actively explore the establishment of cross-unit and cross-disciplinary collaboration mechanisms to produce more landmark and leading high-quality theoretical achievements.

罗文东在会议总结中强调，面对新时代新使命，写作组要紧紧围绕深入学习研究阐释习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想这一首要任务，聚焦推进党的创新理论的体系化、学理化研究阐释和构建中国哲学社会科学自主知识体系开展工作。写作组要认真落实院党组部署，继续推进以我院中心名义在中央“三报一刊”发表理论文章的工作，不断提升文章质量和影响力；扎实做好“两类文章”的写作发表和组织工作；落实交办写作任务，组织重点理论文章，积极探索建立跨单位、跨学科的协作机制，产出更多标志性、引领性高质量理论成果。

The head of the Comprehensive Coordination Office of the “Three Offices”[3]3 The “Three Offices” (三办) refers to the three administrative offices within the Institute of Marxism: the General Office, the Scientific Research Office, and the Personnel Office. of the Institute of Marxism reported on the work situation of the writing group since its establishment in June 2015.

马研院“三办”综合协调处负责人汇报了写作组自2015年6月成立以来的工作情况。
