The Institute of Marxism Holds a Mobilization and Deployment Meeting for Study and Education on Establishing and Practicing a Correct Outlook on Political Performance

On March 4, the Institute of Marxism held a plenary cadre meeting to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important directives on establishing and practicing a correct outlook on political performance, to convey and study the spirit of Director Gao Xiang’s speech at the Party Committee’s enlarged meeting and the Party building work leadership group meeting, to circulate the “Work Plan for Study and Education on Establishing and Practicing a Correct Outlook on Political Performance of the Institute of Marxism,” and to mobilize and deploy the Institute of Marxism’s study and education on establishing and practicing a correct outlook on political performance. Party Committee Secretary Luo Wendong presided over the meeting, conveyed the spirit of the Party Central Committee and the Institute’s Party Committee meeting, and delivered a mobilization speech. Director and Deputy Party Committee Secretary Cui Weihang, Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary and Vice President Chen Zhigang, and Vice President Yu Haiqing attended the meeting and put forward specific requirements for the study and education and related work in their respective departments.

3月4日，马研院召开全体干部大会，深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于树立和践行正确政绩观的重要指示精神，传达学习高翔院长在院党组扩大会议暨党的建设工作领导小组会议上的讲话精神，通报了《马克思主义研究院树立和践行正确政绩观学习教育工作方案》，对马研院开展树立和践行正确政绩观学习教育进行动员部署。党委书记罗文东主持会议，传达党中央和院党组会议精神并作动员讲话，院长、党委副书记崔唯航，纪委书记、副院长陈志刚，副院长于海青出席会议并就分管部门开展学习教育及相关工作提出具体要求。

The meeting pointed out that carrying out study and education on establishing and practicing a correct outlook on political performance is a major decision and deployment made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, with a view to the overall situation of the cause of the Party and the state. It is an important task for Party building this year, and it is even more the primary political task of the Institute of Marxism. All cadres and scholars of the Institute of Marxism must, from the political height of firmly supporting the “Two Establishments”[1]1 The Two Establishments (两个确立) refers to establishing Xi Jinping’ and resolutely achieving the “Two Upholds,”[2] deeply understand the important significance of carrying out study and education, effectively unify their thinking and actions with the decision-making and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of the Institute’s Party Committee, continuously strengthen their sense of responsibility and mission in solidly carrying out study and education, and ensure that study and education achieves solid and tangible results in the Institute of Marxism.

会议指出，开展树立和践行正确政绩观学习教育，是以习近平同志为核心的党中央着眼党和国家事业发展全局作出的重大决策部署，是今年党的建设的重要任务，更是马研院的首要政治任务。马研院全体干部学者要从坚定拥护“两个确立”、坚决做到“两个维护”的政治高度，深刻认识开展学习教育的重要意义，切实把思想和行动统一到党中央决策部署和院党组工作要求上来，不断增强扎实开展学习教育的责任感和使命感，确保学习教育在马研院取得扎扎实实的成效。

The meeting required that the study and education on establishing and practicing a correct outlook on political performance must conscientiously implement the decision-making and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the Institute’s Party Committee, fully implement the general requirements of “establishing the Party for the public, benefiting the people, making scientific decisions, and working with real effort,” focus on a series of important expositions including “Excerpts from Xi Jinping’s Discourses on Establishing and Practicing a Correct Outlook on Political Performance,” deeply carry out study and discussion, deeply examine and reflect, strengthen problem rectification, adhere to the integrated advancement of study, examination, and reform, and educate and guide Party member cadres and scholars of the Institute of Marxism to firmly establish a correct outlook on political performance and career, and strengthen the concept of doing scholarship for the people. It is necessary to integrate the planning and advancement of study and education on establishing and practicing a correct outlook on political performance with the implementation of the Party Central Committee’s decision-making and deployments and the work requirements of the Institute’s Party Committee, closely combine it with all work centered on scientific research, fully leverage the Institute of Marxism’s scientific research and academic advantages, organize experts and scholars to carry out systematic and theoretical research and interpretation around General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on establishing and practicing a correct outlook on political performance, produce a batch of high-quality scientific research results, promote the high-quality development of all work of the Institute of Marxism with the effectiveness of study and education, and contribute wisdom and strength to a good start for the “15th Five-Year Plan.”[3]

会议要求，开展树立和践行正确政绩观学习教育要认真落实党中央和院党组决策部署，全面落实“立党为公、为民造福、科学决策、真抓实干”的总要求，围绕《习近平关于树立和践行正确政绩观论述摘编》等系列重要论述，深入开展学习研讨，深刻检视反思，强化问题整改，坚持一体推进学查改，教育引导马研院党员干部学者树牢正确政绩观、事业观，强化为人民做学问理念。要把开展树立和践行正确政绩观学习教育同落实党中央决策部署和院党组工作要求一体谋划推进，同以科研为中心的各项工作紧密结合，充分发挥马研院科研和学术优势，围绕习近平总书记关于树立和践行正确政绩观的重要论述，组织专家学者开展体系化学理化研究阐释，推出一批高质量的科研成果，以学习教育成效推动马研院各项工作高质量发展，为“十五五”良好开局贡献智慧和力量。
