Notice on Call for Papers for the Ninth Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Mao Zedong Thought Forum

In order to deeply study, research, and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC, deepen academic research on the successful experience of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, consolidate and expand the achievements of Party history study and education, deepen research on Mao Zedong Thought, promote theoretical innovation and development of Marxism, and welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, the Ninth Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Mao Zedong Thought Forum is planned to be held from May 27 to 29, 2022, in Nanchang, Jiangxi. The forum is jointly hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Nanchang University, organized by the School of Marxism of Nanchang University, and co-organized by the Editorial Department of *Marxist Studies*. The theme of the forum is “Mao Zedong Thought and the Leap in Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context.”

为深入学习、研究、贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想、党的十九届六中全会精神，深化中国共产党成立100周年成功经验学术研究，巩固拓展党史学习教育成果，深化毛泽东思想研究，推进马克思主义理论创新与发展，迎接党的二十大胜利召开，第九届中国社会科学院毛泽东思想论坛计划于2022年5月27日至29日在江西南昌举办。论坛由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、南昌大学联合主办，南昌大学马克思主义学院承办，《马克思主义研究》编辑部协办。论坛主题为“毛泽东思想与马克思主义中国化的飞跃”。

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Mao Zedong Thought Forum is one of the series of forums under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences’ project for the construction and research of Marxist theory disciplines. It is an authoritative forum in the field of Mao Zedong Thought research, aimed at strengthening academic exchange among researchers in the field of Mao Zedong Thought nationwide and promoting in-depth research on Mao Zedong Thought. The forum was established in 2014 and is held annually. It has become one of the most influential national forums in the field of Mao Zedong Thought research.

中国社会科学院毛泽东思想论坛是中国社会科学院马克思主义理论学科建设和理论研究工程系列论坛之一，是毛泽东思想研究领域的权威性论坛，旨在加强全国毛泽东思想研究领域的学者交流，推进毛泽东思想研究的深入开展。论坛于2014年创办，每年举办一次，已经成为毛泽东思想研究领域最具影响力的全国性论坛之一。

The call for papers requires guidance from Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of the “Three Represents,” the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It must be closely integrated with the study, research, and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC, reflecting ideological content, contemporaneity, and innovation. Experts, scholars, teachers, and students intending to participate are requested to write their articles promptly and send them to the email address 13979160090@163.com before April 15, 2022. Papers must be unpublished research results, adhere to the correct political direction and academic orientation, and comply with academic norms. The length of the paper should generally not exceed 10,000 words (including notes), and should include 3-5 keywords and an abstract of about 300 words. Citations and historical materials must be accurate and rigorous, and sources must be indicated (format should refer to *Marxist Studies*). Submissions must be marked with the words “Conference Paper.” At the end of the article, please include the author’s biography, email address, and contact phone number. The conference organizing committee will organize a paper review committee composed of relevant experts to evaluate the papers. For those papers selected after review, we will send official invitation letters before April 30.

征文要求以马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想、科学发展观、习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，紧密结合学习贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想、党的十九届六中全会精神，体现思想性、时代性、创新性。请有意参会的专家学者、师生尽快撰写文章，于2022年4月15日前将论文发至13979160090@163.com邮箱。论文须为未发表的科研成果，坚持正确的政治方向、学术导向，并符合学术规范；论文字数一般不宜超过10000字（含注释），并附3-5个关键词和300字左右的内容摘要；引文和史料准确严谨，并请注明出处（格式请参照《马克思主义研究》）。来稿请一定注明“会议征文”字样，文末请附作者简介、电子邮箱、联系电话。会务组将组织有关专家组成的论文评审委员会对论文进行评选。凡经评审入选的论文，我们在4月30日前发出正式邀请函。

The conference does not charge a registration fee. Transportation and accommodation expenses are to be borne by the participants. Meal expenses during the conference will be covered by the organizers. The conference time and format may be adjusted according to the epidemic situation.
