Call for Papers for the Ninth National Forum on Marxist Economics and the Tenth National Youth Forum on Marxist Economics

2020 is the concluding year of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. It is necessary to further sort out and summarize the guiding experience of Marxist political economy for China's economic and social development, uphold and improve the basic socialist economic system, and continuously enrich and improve the theoretical construction and realistic explanation of Marxist political economy. The Ninth National Forum on Marxist Economics and the Tenth National Youth Forum on Marxist Economics will be held at Liaoning University in mid-to-late October 2020.

2020年是全面建成小康社会的收官之年，应进一步梳理和总结马克思主义政治经济学对中国经济社会发展的指导经验，坚持和完善社会主义基本经济制度，不断丰富和完善马克思主义政治经济学的理论构建和现实解释，第九届全国马克思主义经济学论坛暨第十届全国马克思主义经济学青年论坛将于2020年10月中下旬在辽宁大学举办。

This forum will closely focus on the theme of "Building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and upholding and improving the basic socialist economic system," and will focus on the following topics:

本次论坛将紧密围绕“全面建成小康社会和坚持完善社会主义基本经济制度”主题，重点研究如下议题：

1. Research on classic texts of Marxist economics

2. Foreign Marxist theory and new changes in contemporary capitalism

2.国外马克思主义理论与当代资本主义新变化

3. Research and development of the history of Marxist economic thought

5. Poverty alleviation and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects

6. Reform of the rural land system and the rural revitalization strategy

6.农村土地制度改革与乡村振兴战略

7. Research on the relationships among the basic socialist economic systems, including the coexistence of public ownership as the mainstay with diverse forms of ownership, the coexistence of distribution according to work as the mainstay with diverse modes of distribution, and the socialist market economy system

7.公有制为主体、多种所有制经济共同发展，按劳分配为主体、多种分配方式并存，社会主义市场经济体制等社会主义基本经济制度之间的关系研究

8. Other major theoretical and practical issues in Marxist political economy

This forum plans to adopt a "1+4+3" exchange and discussion model, namely 1 plenary keynote report, 4 parallel forum reports, and 3 academic exchange sessions (young scholar dialogue, political economy discipline construction and youth development exchange, and journal and young scholar exchange).

本次论坛拟采取“1+4+3”的交流研讨模式，即1个大会主题报告，4个分论坛报告会，3个学术交流会（青年学者对话会、政治经济学学科建设与青年发展交流会、期刊杂志与青年学者交流会）。

Researchers from national research institutions, universities, and Party and government departments are welcome to actively submit papers. Master's and doctoral students interested in Marxist political economy are encouraged to actively submit papers. After the papers pass the review, formal invitation letters will be sent by the end of August.

欢迎全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的研究人员积极投稿，鼓励支持对马克思主义政治经济学有兴趣的硕博研究生积极投稿，论文通过审稿后将于8月底收到正式邀请函。

Submitted papers must be new works that have not yet been published. The submission deadline is July 1, 2020. The electronic version of the paper should be sent to the forum's public email address bqm_2013@163.com (Liu Daoyi, Institute of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences), and a copy should be sent to lnujdzxb@163.com (Zhang Wei, Zhang Guanghui, School of Economics, Liaoning University). The paper must include an abstract, keywords, author biography, contact phone number, and email address.

投稿论文须为尚未发表新作，投稿截止日期为2020年7月1日，论文电子版请发送至论坛公共邮箱bqm_2013@163.com（中国社科院马克思主义研究院刘道一），并同时抄送邮箱lnujdzxb@163.com（辽宁大学经济学院张伟、张广辉）。论文须包含摘要、关键词、作者简介、联系电话及电子邮箱等信息。

This forum will hold a paper review meeting in July 2020. The review meeting will review the submitted papers. The reviewers will mainly consist of experts in the field, heads of core journals, and members of the forum secretariat. The submitted papers will be selectively recommended to important journals such as *Marxist Studies*, *Teaching and Research*, *World Review of Political Economy*, *Political Economy Studies*, *Contemporary Economic Research*, *Review of Political Economy*, *Economist*, *Studies on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics*, *Red Flag Manuscript*, *Study and Exploration*, *Economic Review*, *Reform*, and *Western Forum*.

本次论坛将在2020年7月份召开审稿会，审稿会将审议投稿论文，审稿人员主要由领域内专家、核心期刊负责人、论坛秘书处成员等组成，投稿论文将择优向《马克思主义研究》《教学与研究》《世界政治经济学评论》《政治经济学研究》《当代经济研究》《政治经济学评论》《经济学家》《中国特色社会主义研究》《红旗文稿》《学习与探索》《经济纵横》《改革》《西部论坛》等有关重要刊物推荐。

This conference will not charge a registration fee. Transportation and accommodation expenses during the conference are to be borne by the participants.

本次会议不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。
