Call for Papers and Outstanding Achievements Review for the 10th National Forum on Marxist Economics and the 11th National Youth Forum on Marxist Economics

2021 marks the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan [1]1 The 14th Five-Year Plan (2021–2025) is the set of national economic and social development goals adopted by the CPC for the period following the completion of the 13th Five-Year Plan.; China will embark on a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country. To comprehensively summarize the glorious course of China's economic and social development under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, to sort out the important contributions of Marxist political economy to China's economic development, to uphold and improve the basic socialist economic system, and to further promote the construction of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics and the enrichment and development of Marxist political economy theory, the "10th National Forum on Marxist Economics and the 11th National Youth Forum on Marxist Economics" is scheduled to be held at Inner Mongolia Normal University in mid-to-late July 2021. The forum plans to adopt a "1+4+3" exchange and discussion model, namely 1 plenary keynote report, 4 parallel sub-forum sessions, and 3 academic exchange meetings (Young Scholars Dialogue, Political Economy Discipline Construction and Youth Development Exchange, Journal and Young Scholars Exchange).

2021年是中国共产党成立100周年和“十四五”开局之年，我国将开启全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程。为全面总结中国共产党领导下中国经济社会发展光辉历程，梳理马克思主义政治经济学对中国经济发展的重要贡献，坚持和完善社会主义基本经济制度，进一步推动中国特色社会主义政治经济学构建和马克思主义政治经济学理论丰富和发展，“第十届全国马克思主义经济学论坛暨第十一届全国马克思主义经济学青年论坛”拟于2021年7月中下旬在内蒙古师范大学举办。论坛拟采取“1+4+3”的交流研讨模式，即1个大会主题报告，4个分论坛报告会，3个学术交流会（青年学者对话会、政治经济学学科建设与青年发展交流会、期刊杂志与青年学者交流会）。

This forum takes "The Centenary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China and the Development and Important Contributions of Marxist Political Economy" as its theme, focusing on but not limited to the following topics:

本次论坛以“中国共产党成立100周年与马克思主义政治经济学的发展和重要贡献”为主题，重点但不限于研究以下议题：

Researchers from national research institutions, universities, and Party and government departments are welcome to actively submit papers. Master's and doctoral students interested in Marxist political economy are encouraged and supported to actively submit papers and attend the conference.

欢迎全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的研究人员积极投稿，鼓励支持对马克思主义政治经济学有兴趣的硕博研究生积极投稿及参会。

Submitted papers must include, in addition to the main text, an abstract, keywords, author biography, contact phone number, and email address, and must not have been previously published. The submission deadline is June 1, 2021. This forum will convene a review meeting in mid-to-late June 2021 to evaluate the submitted papers. The review panel will mainly consist of experts in the field, responsible editors from core journals, members of the forum's executive committee, and secretariat staff. Authors of accepted papers will receive formal invitation letters in early July. Selected papers will be recommended to relevant journals including *Studies on Marxism*, *Teaching and Research*, *World Review of Political Economy*, *Research on Political Economy*, *Contemporary Economic Research*, *Review of Political Economy*, *Economist*, *Journal of Socialist Theory with Chinese Characteristics*, *Red Flag Manuscript*, *Study and Exploration*, *Economic Perspectives*, *Reform*, *Western Forum*, and *Reform and Strategy*.

本次论坛将于2021年6月中下旬召开审稿会审议投稿论文，审稿人员主要由本领域内专家、核心期刊负责人、论坛执行委员、秘书处成员等组成，入选论文的作者将于7月初收到正式邀请函。投稿论文将择优向《马克思主义研究》《教学与研究》《世界政治经济学评论》《政治经济学研究》《当代经济研究》《政治经济学评论》《经济学家》《中国特色社会主义研究》《红旗文稿》《学习与探索》《经济纵横》《改革》《西部论坛》《改革与战略》 等有关刊物推荐。

To encourage young scholars to engage in diligent academic research and innovation, this forum will conduct an outstanding achievements review activity. Approximately 10 outstanding achievements will be selected from the submitted papers (with priority given to lecturers, master's students, and doctoral students), including 2 first-class achievements, 3 second-class achievements, and 5 third-class achievements. Certificates of honor and rewards will be presented at the forum's opening ceremony. The list of awardees will be announced and the achievements promoted on the forum's official WeChat public account, "Ma Jing Qing Nian" (Marxist Economics Youth).

为鼓励青年学者潜心学研创新，本次论坛将开展优秀成果评审活动，从投稿论文中拟评选出10篇（左右）的优秀成果（侧重讲师、硕博生），其中一等成果2篇、二等成果3篇、三等成果5篇，并于论坛开幕时颁发荣誉证书及奖励，在论坛公众号马经青年上公布获评名单并推送成果。

This conference will not charge a registration fee. Travel and accommodation expenses during the conference are to be borne by the participants.

本次会议不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。
