Call for Papers: 14th National Forum for Young Marxist Scholars

2021 is a year of milestone significance. Our Party has ushered in its centenary, and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has entered a critical period. Over the past century, the Communist Party of China has made monumental contributions to the people, the nation, the country, and the world. In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Party History Study and Education Mobilization Conference [1]1 The Party History Study and Education Mobilization Conference was convened by the CPC Central Committee in February 2021 to launch a nationwide campaign of studying the Party’s history., draw wisdom and strength from the Party’s century-long history to move forward, and promote mutual learning and exchange among young Marxist scholars nationwide, the 14th National Forum for Young Marxist Scholars, jointly hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Sun Yat-sen University, and co-organized by the Editorial Office of *Studies on Marxism* and the School of Marxism of Sun Yat-sen University, will be held in Guangzhou from October 15 to 17, 2021 (tentative). We are now soliciting papers from young scholars engaged in the teaching and research of Marxist theory nationwide.

2021年是具有里程碑意义的一年，我们党迎来百年华诞，中华民族伟大复兴进入关键时期。百年来，中国共产党为人民、为民族、为国家、为世界作出了彪炳史册的伟大贡献。为深入学习贯彻习近平总书记在党史学习教育动员大会上的重要讲话精神，从党的百年历史中汲取前行的智慧与力量，促进全国马克思主义青年学者的相互学习与交流，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院与中山大学联合主办、《马克思主义研究》编辑部与中山大学马克思主义学院共同承办的第十四届全国马克思主义青年学者论坛将于2021年10月15-17日（暂定）在广州举行。现面向全国从事马克思主义理论研究与教学的青年学者征文。

Time: October 15–17, 2021 (tentative). For the specific time, please follow the WeChat public account “Studies on Marxism,” the “Studies on Marxism” account on the Xuexi Qiangguo platform [3]3 Xuexi Qiangguo (“Study the Strong Country”) is a state-run mobile application and online platform for disseminating Xi Jinping Thought and Party propaganda., and the “Studies on Marxism” website (myy.cass.cn).

时间：2021年10月15-17日（暂定），具体时间请关注：“马克思主义研究”微信公众号、“马克思主义研究”学习强国号和“马克思主义研究网”（myy.cass.cn）。

Venue: School of Marxism, Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou).

地点：中山大学马克思主义学院（广州）。

III. Participation Method

Participation is by paper submission. After expert review of the submissions, invitation letters will be sent to selected authors.

以文参会。来稿经专家评审后，向入选者发送参会邀请函。

IV. Submission Requirements

四、来稿要求

1. Submission deadline: June 1, 2021.

1.来稿截止日期：2021年6月1日。

2. Papers should be 10,000–15,000 words in length, with a clear theme, correct viewpoints, and clear argumentation, reflecting academic rigor and innovation, and must not have been previously published.

2.论文篇幅以1.0-1.5万字为宜，主题鲜明、观点正确、论证清晰，体现学术性和创新性，且未公开发表。

3. The paper should be preceded by an abstract (approx. 300 words), keywords (3–5), and author information (name, gender, age, work unit, title, position, mailing address, phone number, email). The main text should follow the submission style of *Studies on Marxism*.

3.论文正文前附内容提要（300字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介（姓名、性别、年龄、工作单位、职称、职务、联系地址、联系电话、电子邮箱），正文参照《马克思主义研究》投稿体例。
