Notice and Call for Papers for the Seventh "International Communist Movement Forum"
第七届“国际共产主义运动论坛”会议通知与征文启事
In 2019, we welcome major commemorative anniversaries in the history of the international communist movement, including the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the "May Fourth Movement," and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the "Communist International." In order to comprehensively review the historical process of the 70 years since the founding of New China, discuss the impact of the "Communist International" and the "May Fourth Movement" on the international communist movement, deeply understand the interconnections between socialism with Chinese characteristics and world socialism, and deepen the study of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences will jointly host the Seventh "International Communist Forum" with the Guizhou Provincial Academy of Social Sciences and Zunyi Normal College. The theme of this forum is "70 Years of New China and Research on the International Communist Movement." During the forum, the first volume of the "International Communist Movement Yellow Book," namely the *Report on the Development of the International Communist Movement (2018-2019)*, will also be released.
2019年，我们迎来了新中国成立70周年、“五四运动”爆发100周年、“共产国际”成立100周年等国际共运历史上的重大纪念日，为了全面回顾新中国成立70年来的历史进程、研讨“共产国际”和“五四运动”对国际共产主义运动的影响，深刻理解中国特色社会主义与世界社会主义的相互联系，深化对习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的学习，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院将与贵州省社会科学院、遵义师范学院联合主办第七届“国际共产主义论坛”。本届论坛主题为“新中国70年与国际共产主义运动研究”，会上还将举行“国际共运黄皮书”首册即《国际共产主义运动发展报告》（2018-2019）发布会。

四、论文写作要求
Papers must closely adhere to the theme, be correct in viewpoint, emphasize academic nature, and be previously unpublished; the length should be controlled within 10,000 characters. Attach the author's academic resume, paper abstract, and keywords. Please follow the format requirements of the journal *Studies on Marxism*.
紧扣主题，观点正确，突出学术性，未公开发表成果；篇幅控制在10000字以内。并附作者学术简历、论文摘要、关键词。格式请参照《马克思主义研究》杂志要求。
The organizers will organize experts to review the papers. Invitation letters to attend the forum will be sent to selected authors before May 15.
主办方将组织专家对论文进行评审，5月15日前给论文入选者发去参会邀请函。

Notes
- The "May Fourth Movement" (1919) was a Chinese anti-imperialist, anti-feudal political and cultural movement initiated by students and intellectuals, considered a key turning point in the transition from the old-democratic to the new-democratic revolution led by the CPC.
- The "Communist International" (Comintern, 1919–1943) was the international organization uniting communist parties worldwide under the leadership of the Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and later the CPSU.
- "New China" refers to the People's Republic of China, proclaimed on October 1, 1949.
- The "International Communist Movement Yellow Book" is an annual report series published by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences analyzing the state and trends of the international communist movement.
- Zunyi Normal College is located in Zunyi, Guizhou Province, the site of the 1935 Zunyi Conference, a pivotal meeting of the CPC during the Long March.
