Call for Papers: The 12th National Forum of Deans of Marxist Studies

The year 2019 coincides with the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. In order to comprehensively review and summarize the glorious course, great achievements, and major results of Marxist research in China, to vigorously promote the classical inheritance and innovative development of Marxism, to deeply advance the adaptation of Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times and its popularization, and to fully open up a new situation for Marxist research and dissemination in the New Era, the 12th National Forum of Deans of Marxist Studies is scheduled to be held in Beijing on July 20, 2019. The theme of the forum is “70 Years of Marxist Research.”

2019年恰逢新中国成立70周年。为全面回顾总结马克思主义研究在中国的光辉历程、伟大成就和重大成果，大力推动马克思主义的经典传承和创新发展，深入推进马克思主义中国化、时代化、大众化，全面开启新时代马克思主义研究与传播的新局面，第十二届全国马克思主义院长论坛拟于2019年7月20日在北京举行，论坛主题为“马克思主义研究70年”。

This forum will closely revolve around the conference theme and focus on discussing the following topics:

1. The historic achievements and valuable experience gained in the construction and development of New China

We now sincerely invite teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, institutions of higher education, and Party and government departments to actively submit papers. Requirements for submissions:

现诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学和研究人员积极投稿。稿件要求：

1. The paper must have a correct stance, a clear theme, rigorous logic, and a combination of historical narrative and theoretical analysis, reflecting academic quality and innovation, and possessing high theoretical and practical value.

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值。

2. The paper must be a new work that has not yet been published, with a word count of no less than 8,000 characters. It should be preceded by an abstract (approximately 300 characters), keywords (3-5), an author biography, and detailed contact information.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数不少于8000字，正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介及详细联系方式。

This forum adopts a “paper-based participation” method. The deadline for paper submission is June 10, 2019. The electronic version of the paper should be sent in WORD format to the contact person: Researcher Yang Jing of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (email: mnsh2019@163.com). After evaluation by the expert review committee, invitation letters for the conference will be sent to selected authors by June 25.

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，论文投稿截止日期为2019年6月10日。论文电子版请以WORD文档形式发送至联系人：中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院杨静研究员（电子邮箱：mnsh2019@163.com）。投稿论文经专家评审委员会评选后,于6月25日前向入选作者发出会议邀请函。

Outstanding papers will be compiled and published in a collection after the conference, and will be recommended for publication in *Marxist Research*.

优秀论文会后将结集出版，并向《马克思主义研究》推荐发表。
