University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2024 Doctoral Admissions Online Registration Announcement

In accordance with the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2024 Doctoral Admissions Brochure and related work arrangements, our university plans to launch doctoral admissions registration on January 10, simultaneously opening the doctoral online registration system. The specific work requirements are hereby announced as follows:

根据中国社会科学院大学2024年博士招生简章及相关工作安排，我校拟于1月10日启动博士招生报名工作，同时开放博士网上报名系统，现将具体工作要求公告如下：

I. Important Notes

一、注意事项

1. This announcement is only for domestic candidates applying to our university. Candidates from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and foreign students coming to China for study are not participating in this online registration. Students who have been accepted by our university for direct doctoral studies from the undergraduate level will follow the relevant procedures of the Ministry of Education’s “Recommendation and Exemption Service System” and will not participate in this online registration. Applications for the “Master-Doctor Continuous Program” will be notified separately.

1.本公告仅面向报考我校的内地考生，港澳台、外国来华留学不参加本次网报；已被我校接收为本科起点直接攻读博士学位研究生的学生，按照教育部“推荐免试服务系统”的相关流程进行，不再参加本次网报；“硕博连读”的申请工作另行通知。

2. Before registering, candidates should carefully read our university’s doctoral admissions brochure, doctoral admissions program directory, and the relevant colleges’ application-assessment system implementation plans to confirm whether they meet the application conditions.

2.考生报名前应认真阅读我校博士招生简章、博士招生专业目录，及相关学院申请-考核制实施方案，确认本人是否符合报考条件。

3. The 2024 doctoral registration adopts a method of submitting registration materials online. After filling in the online registration information, candidates must upload registration materials in the online registration system as required. Registration information that fails to submit materials as required or submits incomplete materials will be invalid. Candidates taking the unified entrance examination do not need to mail paper materials; they should retain them for review during the re-examination stage. Candidates under the application-assessment system should submit materials according to the requirements of their college’s admissions work plan. If the applying college has special requirements, please follow the college’s requirements to submit electronic or paper registration materials.

3.2024年博士报名采取线上提交报名材料的方式进行，考生网上填写报名信息后，按要求在网上报名系统中上传报名材料，未按要求提交材料或提交材料不完整的报名信息无效。统一入学考试方式考生无需邮寄纸质材料，留存复试阶段备查；申请考核制方式考生请根据学院招生工作方案要求提交。如报考学院有特别要求者请遵照学院要求提交电子版或纸质版报名材料。

1. Confirm Eligibility to Apply

1.确认具备报考资格

Applicants must carefully read the Ministry of Education documents, the “University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2024 Doctoral Graduate Admissions Brochure,” and the application conditions in the work plans of colleges using the application-assessment system, and carefully confirm whether they meet the corresponding application qualifications.

报名者须仔细阅读教育部文件、《中国社会科学院大学2024年博士研究生招生简章》、申请考核制招生学院工作方案中的报考条件等要求，仔细确认本人是否具备相应的报考资格。

2. Registration and Account Creation

2.报名注册

Complete user registration on the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Doctoral Graduate Registration System (website: http://yz.ucass.edu.cn/Default.aspx). It is recommended to use the Google Chrome browser for online registration. Be sure to remember your username and password for use when logging in again or making related inquiries.

在中国社会科学院大学博士研究生报名系统（网址：http://yz.ucass.edu.cn/Default.aspx）完成用户注册，网上报名推荐使用谷歌（Chrome）浏览器，务必牢记用户名及密码，以备再次登录或做有关查询时使用。

3. Fill in Registration Information

3.填写报名信息

(1) Candidates must accurately and thoroughly fill in all registration information items as required. Responsibility for being unable to participate in information confirmation, examinations, admissions, and subsequent enrollment registration due to omissions, errors, or false entries shall be borne by the candidate themselves.

（1）考生务必按要求准确详实填写所有报名信息项，因漏填、误填或虚假填报造成不能参加信息确认、考试、录取以及入学后不能进行学籍注册的，责任由考生本人承担。

(2) In this online registration, each candidate may apply for a maximum of two preferences at our university, with only one preference allowed within each college (including the “Marxist Theory Backbone Talent Program” [n1]). Candidates should carefully consider their preferences. If examination arrangements for the two applied preferences conflict, only one preference can be selected for taking the examination and assessment.

（2）本次网报每位考生最多可以申请我校的两个志愿，每个学院（包括“马克思主义理论骨干人才计划”）内仅限申请一个志愿。请考生慎重填报志愿，如报考两个志愿考试安排发生冲突，仅可选择其中一个志愿参加考试、考核。

(3) Academic status and education information is key information reflecting whether a candidate meets the national requirements for doctoral application conditions. Candidates must carefully fill in the information according to the prompts below each item to ensure accuracy.

（3）学籍学历信息是体现考生是否具有国家要求的博士报考条件的关键信息，考生须根据各填报项下面的提示信息认真填写，确保准确无误。

4. Upload Application Photo and Identity Verification

4.上传报考照片、身份核验

(1) Candidates need to upload a recent (within the last three months), front-facing, bareheaded, no-makeup, color one-inch electronic ID photo (white or blue background, for the admission ticket photo), with a width-to-height ratio of 3:4. The photo format must be jpg or jpeg; size 20K–100K; photo pixel dimensions width 150-375px, height 200-500px. In principle, the photo is not allowed to be replaced or modified after upload. If the photo changes, the photo downloaded by our university before the examination begins shall prevail.

（1）考生需上传本人最近三个月内正面、免冠、无妆、彩色一寸电子证件照（白色或蓝色背景，用于准考证照片），宽高比例3:4，照片格式需为jpg或jpeg；大小20K－100K，照片像素为宽度150-375px、高度200-500px。照片上传后原则上不允许再更换、修改，照片如有变更以考试开始前我校下载的照片为准。

(2) After uploading the photo, the system will automatically complete identity verification, displaying “Real-name match, image judged to be the same person” to indicate passage. If “Real-name mismatch” is displayed, check whether the personal name and ID number are accurate. If “Real-name match, image judged to be a different person” is displayed, the uploaded photo needs to be replaced.

（2）上传照片后系统自动完成身份核验，显示“实名匹配，图像判断为同一人”即为通过。如显示“实名不匹配”需核对个人姓名和身份证号是否准确；如显示“实名匹配，图像判断为不同人”则需更换上传照片。

5. Confirm Registration Information and Pay Registration Fee Online

5.确认报考信息、网上支付报名费

(1) After submitting the registration form, pay the registration fee of 200 RMB online. Please conduct online registration, online payment of the registration fee, and other steps in a secure environment. Responsibility for losses caused by the candidate’s own operational errors or leakage of online payment account numbers and passwords shall be borne by the candidate themselves.

（1）提交报名表后，在网上在线支付报名费200元。请在安全场所进行网上报名、网上支付报名费等环节，因考生自己操作失误或网上支付账号和密码泄漏造成的损失，责任由考生自负。

(2) Our university only accepts online payment for the registration fee; on-site payment and bank transfers are not accepted.

（2）我校报名费只采取网上支付的方式，不接收现场缴费和转账汇款。

(3) After the registration fee is paid online, it will not be refunded regardless of whether the candidate takes the examination.

（3）网上支付报名费后，无论考生是否参加考试，一律不退还报名费。

6. Upload Supplementary Materials

6.上传附加材料

After completing the registration information and paying the registration fee, candidates also need to upload supplementary materials. Materials must be scanned or photographed and made into PDF electronic files, with clear and legible handwriting, uniform brightness, and text displayed in the correct orientation.

考生在完成报名信息填写并支付报名费后，还需要上传附加材料，要求材料扫描或拍照后制成PDF电子文件，字迹清晰可见，亮度均匀，文字正向显示。

※ Applicants under the “Application-Assessment” system should scan the required materials in order into a single PDF document according to the requirements of the college’s work plan and upload it to the registration system.

※“申请-考核”制申请人请按照学院工作方案中的要求将各项材料按顺序扫描成一个PDF版文档，上传至报名系统。

※ Candidates taking the unified entrance examination should scan the following materials in order into a single PDF document and upload it to the registration system:

(1) “Registration Information Form for Applying for Doctoral Graduate Studies” (this form is downloaded, printed, and filled out after online registration; candidates must sign and confirm in the corresponding column, and the study or work unit must fill in the opinion on agreeing to the application and affix its seal).

Scan or photograph the personal information side and the national emblem side of the ID card separately. Additionally, provide a photo of the candidate holding the ID card (displaying the personal information side). When taking the photo, include the arm holding the card and the upper body entirely in the frame. The head and shoulders should be straight, hair must not cover the face or cause shadows, and facial features must be exposed, ensuring all information on the ID card is visible and complete.

身份证个人信息面、国徽面分别扫描或拍照；另需提供考生本人手持身份证（展示个人信息面）照片，拍摄时将持证的手臂和上半身整个拍进照片，头部和肩部要端正，头发不得遮挡脸部或造成阴影，要露出五官，确保身份证上的所有信息可见、完整。

① Current graduate students expecting to graduate must upload a “Certificate of Current Graduate Enrollment,” or scans of the personal information page and registration pages of their student ID card (requiring a photo and registration for each semester).

①应届研究生毕业生须上传《研究生在读证明》，或者学生证（要求有照片且每学期均已注册）个人信息页及注册页的扫描件。

② Previous graduates (including those with overseas degrees) must upload scans of their graduate-level academic qualification certificates consistent with the filled registration information (non-degree-education master’s degree holders may omit this).

②往届生（含境外学位）须上传与填报报名信息相一致的研究生阶段学历证书扫描件（非学历教育硕士可不提交）。

① Previous graduates (including those with overseas degrees and non-degree-education master’s degrees) upload scans of their master’s degree certificates consistent with the filled registration information.

①往届生（含境外学位、非学历教育硕士）上传与填报报名信息相一致的硕士学位证书扫描件；

② Current students and candidates with equivalent academic qualifications do not upload this item.

②应届生、同等学力报考考生不上传此项；

③ Overseas degrees must simultaneously submit a certification report from the Ministry of Education’s “Overseas Study Service Center.”

③境外学位须同时提交“教育部留学人员服务中心”的认证报告。

④ For candidates with equivalent academic qualifications, they must upload their bachelor’s degree certificate (with at least 6 years from the date of obtaining the bachelor’s degree to September 1, 2024) and other required application materials (must have published 2 academic papers related to the applied discipline in professional journals, or have received a provincial/ministerial-level or above scientific research achievement award related to the applied discipline [ranked in the top 3]; candidates in special industries or special positions with considerable academic research results may submit an application to the university’s admissions office).

④同等学力报考，须上传学士学位证书（从获得学士学位之日到2024年9月1日满6年）及其他报名必须的申请材料（须在专业期刊上发表与报考专业相关的学术论文2篇，或已获得省部级以上与报考学科相关的科研成果奖励（排名前3名），特殊行业、特殊岗位具有相当学术研究成果的可向学校招生办提交申请）。

(5) Two letters of recommendation from experts, which must be recommendation opinions provided by professors or experts with equivalent senior professional technical titles in the relevant academic discipline field. (See Appendix 1)

（5）专家推荐书两份，须由所报考学科专业领域内的教授或相当于正高级专业技术职称的专家提供推荐意见。（见附件1）

(6) Original transcripts of undergraduate and master’s stage grades (provided by the candidate’s school’s academic affairs department and stamped with the official seal) or copies (provided by the personnel department of the candidate’s archival unit and stamped with the official seal).

（6）本科和硕士阶段的学习成绩单原件（由申请人学校培养部门提供并加盖公章）或复印件（由申请人档案所在单位人事部门提供并加盖公章）；

7. Registration Qualification Review

7.报名资格审核

During and after the registration period, each college will conduct preliminary reviews of application qualifications according to their respective arrangements (to be completed no later than February 29). Candidates for the unified entrance examination who pass the preliminary review will obtain examination eligibility and can take the unified entrance examination preliminary test. Candidates under the “Application-Assessment” system who pass the preliminary review meet the basic application conditions and can participate in the subsequent “Material Review” stage, but this does not mean they have entered the “Comprehensive Assessment” stage. Candidates should promptly check through the registration system whether they have passed the application qualification review and whether the submitted registration materials need supplementation. Please always pay attention to receiving SMS or email notifications sent by the system.

报名期间及报名结束后，各学院根据各自安排进行报考资格初审工作（最晚在2月29日之前完成）。统一入学考试考生通过初审后获得准考资格，可以参加统一入学考试初试；“申请-考核”制考生通过初审即符合最基本申请条件，可以参加后续“材料审查”环节，并不代表进入了“综合考核”阶段。考生应通过报名系统及时关注自己是否通过报考资格审查、提交的报名材料是否需要补充，请随时注意接收系统发送的短信或邮件提示。

Please pay timely attention to the doctoral admissions and announcement columns on the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences admissions website (https://skdzs.ucass.edu.cn/) to obtain the latest information on our doctoral graduate admissions.
