In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deepen the study of overseas Marxism, strengthen the teaching and disciplinary construction of Marxist theory, track and grasp the latest progress and dynamics of overseas Marxist studies, innovatively develop contemporary Marxist theory, deeply advance the Sinicization of contemporary Marxism, and actively respond to the opportunities and challenges facing contemporary China and human development, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Guangxi Normal University jointly host the "5th National Forum on Overseas Marxist Studies (2018)."
为了深入学习和贯彻党的十九大精神和习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，深化国外马克思主义研究，加强马克思主义理论的教学和学科建设工作，追踪与把握国外马克思主义研究的最新进展和动态, 创新发展当代马克思主义理论，深入推进当代马克思主义的中国化，积极应对当代中国与人类发展面临的机遇与挑战，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院与广西师范大学联合主办“第5届全国国外马克思主义研究论坛（2018）”。

To ensure the success of this forum, we welcome experts and scholars from all social science academies, research institutions, universities and colleges, Party schools, schools of administration, military academies, and related research fields to actively submit papers.
为了开好本次论坛，欢迎全国各社科院、科研机构、高等院校、党校、行政学院、军队院校与相关研究领域的专家学者踊跃投稿。
(I) Paper Requirements
（一）论文要求
Papers must adhere to the Marxist stance, viewpoint, and method, closely align with the theme and topics, and highlight ideological, academic, and practical qualities;
论文须坚持马克思主义的立场、观点和方法，紧扣主题和论题，突出思想性、学术性和实践性；
Papers must be original works that have not been published;
论文须是未公开发表的原创成果；
The format and style of papers, notes, and references should follow the journal *Studies on Marxism*;
论文、注释和参考文献的格式和体例请参考《马克思主义研究》杂志；
The length should be around 6,000 characters;
篇幅在6000字左右；
The author's name, affiliation, position/title, and contact information must be provided at the end of the paper.
文后须提供作者的姓名、单位、职务/职称和联系方式等。

The deadline for papers is September 30, 2018. When submitting, please send the electronic version of the paper (paper submissions will not be accepted) to the email address: gwmkszy2018@163.com, with the email subject line formatted as: Paper Title + Work Unit + Name.
论文截止日期为2018年9月30日。投稿时请将论文的电子版（不接受纸质稿）发至电子邮箱：gwmkszy2018@163.com，邮件标题的格式为：论文题目+工作单位+姓名。
We will organize experts to review the papers and send the electronic version of the official invitation letter to those whose papers are selected by October 10. The paper version of the official invitation letter will be issued upon registration. A collection of papers will be published after the forum.
届时我们将组织专家对论文进行评审，并于10月10日前向论文入选者发出正式邀请函的电子版，报到时发正式邀请函的纸质版。会后将出版论文集。
IV. Conference Fees
四、会议费用
This forum will not charge a registration fee. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip transportation and accommodation expenses.
本次论坛不收取会务费，参会人员的往返交通费和住宿费自理。
