2018 Postdoctoral Recruitment Notice from the Institute of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences

The Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is a Marxist research institution approved by the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee on May 19, 2005, and re-established on December 26, 2005, on the basis of the former Institute of Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought. It is the sole supporting unit of the Academic Division of Marxist Studies. Approved by the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, the Institute established the “Postdoctoral Research Station for Marxist Theory” in 2007.

中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院是2005年5月19日中央政治局常委会议批准，并于2005年12月26日在原马克思列宁主义毛泽东思想研究所的基础上重新组建的马克思主义研究机构，是马克思主义研究学部的唯一依托单位。经全国博士后管理委员会批准，本院2007年起设立“马克思主义理论博士后流动站”。

In 2018, the research station will only recruit state-funded postdoctoral fellows, with specific requirements as follows.

2018年流动站只招收国资博士后，具体要求如下。

I. Application Requirements (must be met simultaneously)

一、申请条件（须同时具备）

1. Possess good political quality and moral cultivation, abide by laws and regulations; have a high level of scientific research capability and innovative spirit, and be able to independently complete the research work required for the postdoctoral position;

1.具备良好的政治素质和道德修养水平，遵纪守法；具有较高科研水平和创新精神，并且能够独立完成博士后所需的研究工作；

2. Under 35 years of age, with excellent character and academic performance, and in good health;

2.年龄在35岁周岁以下，品学兼优、身体健康；

3. Have obtained a doctoral degree and the corresponding certificate from domestic or foreign institutions;

3.在国内外获得博士学位并取得博士学位证书；

4. The applicant’s status must be non-employed (i.e., not currently holding a job).

4.申请人身份必须为非在职人员。

Marxist Principles, Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context, History of Marxist Development, Scientific Socialism and the International Communist Movement, Ideological and Political Education, History of the Communist Party of China and Party Building, etc.

马克思主义原理、马克思主义中国化、马克思主义发展史、科学社会主义与国际共产主义运动、思想政治教育、中共党史与党建等。

Application materials include a personal resume, a doctoral dissertation abstract, a proposed research plan (300-500 words), etc. Submitted materials should be formatted in A4 paper size, submitted electronically in WORD format, and also submitted in paper form.
