Call for Papers: “Summit Forum on the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China and the Era of a Strong Nation”

On 1 October 2019, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China will be celebrated. Over these 70 years of shifting circumstances, China’s historic leap has drawn the world’s attention. At present, socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a New Era, and the Chinese nation, which endured so much hardship in modern times, has ushered in a great leap from standing up and growing prosperous to becoming strong, and has ushered in the bright prospect of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. At this new historical coordinate, we commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and convey China’s voice. To this end, the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Chengdu University of Technology jointly host the “Summit Forum on the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China and the Era of a Strong Nation,” which is scheduled to be held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, from 28 to 30 September 2019. The forum will be organized by the Department of Principles of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the School of Marxism of Chengdu University of Technology, and co-organized by the journal *Theory and Reform*.
