Call for Papers: The 10th Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, to summarize the basic experience of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context since the CPC came to national power, to deepen research on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and to advance the innovative development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences plans to convene the 10th Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context under the theme “Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context and the 70 Years of New China.” We now invite submissions from experts and scholars engaged in research in this field nationwide.

为纪念新中国成立70周年，总结中国共产党在全国执政以来马克思主义中国化的基本经验，深入研究习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，推进中国特色社会主义的创新发展，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院拟以“马克思主义中国化与新中国70年”为主题，召开第十届马克思主义中国化学术论坛。现面向全国从事该领域研究的专家、学者征文。

I. Forum Theme: Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context and the 70 Years of New China

一、论坛主题：马克思主义中国化与新中国70年

II. Forum Dates: Registration on Wednesday, July 17, 2019; full-day sessions on Thursday, July 18, and the morning of Friday, July 19; departure on the afternoon of July 19 or the morning of July 20.

二、论坛时间：2019年7月17日（星期三）报到，7月18日（星期四）全天、19日上午（星期五）开会，7月19日下午或20日上午离会。

III. Forum Venue: International Conference Center, Dalian University of Technology (No. 2 Linggong Road, High-Tech Zone, Dalian, Liaoning Province)

三、论坛地点：大连理工大学国际会议中心（辽宁省大连市高新区凌工路2号）

IV. Paper Requirements: Papers must closely adhere to the theme, present correct viewpoints, and emphasize academic rigor; they must be original, unpublished research by the author; length should be kept within 8,000 characters.

四、论文写作要求：紧扣主题，观点正确，突出学术性；独立研究的未公开发表成果；篇幅控制在8000字以内。

V. Submission Deadline: June 15, 2019. Please send the electronic version of the paper (paper submissions will not be accepted) to the email address: mkszyzghlt@163.com, and attach the author’s academic CV, an abstract, and keywords. Format should follow the requirements of the journal *Studies on Marxism*. The forum will organize experts to review the papers; authors of accepted papers will be notified by June 22 to attend the forum on the basis of their paper.

五、征文截稿日期：2019年6月15日。请将论文电子稿（不接受纸质稿）发送到电子邮箱：mkszyzghlt@163.com，并附作者学术简历、论文摘要、关键词，格式请参照《马克思主义研究》杂志要求。论坛将组织专家对论文进行评审，6月22日前通知论文入选者以文赴会。

VI. This forum charges no registration fee; transportation and accommodation costs are to be borne by participants.
