“Call for Papers: 2019 National Symposium on Ideological and Political Education”

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, review and summarize the achievements and experience of China’s ideological and political education, promote in-depth research on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, implement the spirit of the National Education Conference, the National Conference on Propaganda and Ideological Work, and the Symposium for Teachers of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Schools, and advance the innovative development of ideological and political education in the New Era, the “2019 National Symposium on Ideological and Political Education” is scheduled to be held from October 12 to 13, 2019, in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. The symposium is co-hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Harbin Engineering University, and organized by the Department of Principles of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the School of Marxism of Harbin Engineering University. Journals and media outlets including *Studies on Marxism*, *Ideological and Theoretical Education*, *Research on Ideological and Political Education*, *Chinese Social Sciences Today*, and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences website will participate.

为纪念新中国成立70周年，回顾和总结我国思想政治教育成就与经验，促进习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的深入研究，落实全国教育大会、全国宣传思想工作会议和学校思想政治理论课教师座谈会精神，推动新时代思想政治教育创新发展，“2019年全国思想政治教育学术研讨会”拟于2019年10月12-13日在黑龙江省哈尔滨市举办。会议由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院和哈尔滨工程大学主办，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院原理部和哈尔滨工程大学马克思主义学院承办。《马克思主义研究》《思想理论教育》《思想政治教育研究》《中国社会科学报》及中国社会科学网等报刊媒体将届时与会。

V. The symposium adopts a paper-based participation method. Scholars and experts are requested to write papers around the symposium theme and topics.

五、会议采取以文参会的方式，请各位专家学者围绕会议主题和议题撰写论文。

Paper requirements are as follows: (1) Guided by Marxism, with a clear theme, demonstrating academic rigor and innovation; (2) Precede the main text with an abstract (approximately 400 characters), keywords (3–5), author biography (name, gender, work unit, title, position), and detailed contact information (address, phone, email); (3) The main text should follow the submission format of *Studies on Marxism*; (4) The length should be within 8,000 characters, with standardized citations and accurate quotations.

论文要求如下：（1）以马克思主义为指导，主题鲜明，体现学术性和创新性；（2）正文前附内容提要（400字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介（姓名、性别、工作单位、职称、职务）及详细联系方式（地址、电话、电子邮箱）；（3）正文请参照《马克思主义研究》投稿体例；（4）字数在8000字以内，要求注释规范、引文准确。

Submitted papers should be sent as Word documents to the submission email: qgszyth@163.com. The email subject line should indicate “2019 National Symposium on Ideological and Political Education,” and the attachment should be named “Author’s Name + Paper Title.” The submission deadline is August 31, 2019.

VI. The organizing committee will issue formal invitation letters to authors of selected papers. After the symposium, a collection of papers will be published, and outstanding papers will be recommended to participating academic journals.

六、会务组将向论文入选者发出正式参会邀请函。会后将择优出版论文集，并向与会的学术期刊推荐优秀论文。
