Work Plan and Notice for the 2019 Master’s Degree Candidate Re-examination and Admission of the Department of Marxist Studies, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Graduate School)

In accordance with the spirit of the “2019 National Master’s Degree Candidate Re-examination and Admission Training Conference” and the requirements of the “Notice of the Ministry of Education on Issuing the ‘Regulations on the Management of the 2019 National Master’s Degree Candidate Enrollment Work’” (Teaching [2018] No. 5) and the “Supplementary Opinions of the Beijing Education Examination Authority on Doing a Good Job of the 2019 Graduate Student Enrollment and Admission Work,” and in light of the specific circumstances of our department, the following work plan for the 2019 master’s degree candidate re-examination of the Department of Marxist Studies, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Graduate School) is formulated:
根据“2019年全国硕士研究生招生复试录取工作培训会议”精神以及《教育部关于印发<2019年全国硕士研究生招生工作管理规定>的通知》（教学〔2018〕5号）、《北京教育考试院关于做好2019年研究生招生录取工作的补充意见》要求，结合我系具体情况，特制定中国社会大学（研究生院）马克思主义研究系2019年硕士研究生复试工作方案，内容如下：
I. Re-examination Organization and Management
一、复试组织管理
Establish and improve the organizational management structure, and set up a re-examination and admission leading group of no fewer than three persons. Under the guidance of the re-examination and admission leading group, establish a re-examination group with no fewer than five members. Under the guidance of the department’s re-examination and admission leading group, the re-examination group is responsible for determining the specific content, scoring standards, procedures, etc., for the written examination, interview (including foreign language comprehensive ability test), and practical ability assessment of candidates, and for organizing their implementation.
建立健全组织管理机构，成立不少于三人的复试、录取工作领导小组。在复试、录取工作领导小组指导下成立复试小组，成员不少于五人。复试小组在系复试、录取工作领导小组指导下，负责确定考生笔试、面试（包括外语综合能力测试）和实践能力考核的具体内容、评分标准、程序等，并具体组织实施。
II. Re-examination Work Requirements
二、复试工作要求
Establish a scientific concept of talent selection, strengthen comprehensive assessment in the re-examination, adhere to the equal emphasis on ability and knowledge assessment, and focus on examining candidates’ innovative spirit and ability, professional interest and literacy, etc.; pay attention to candidates’ consistent performance, valuing both initial examination scores and past academic performance and potential ability and quality. Fully leverage and standardize the role of the supervisor group in re-examination selection, further clarify the academic authority and responsibility of the supervisor group, enhance the ability of the supervisor group to select talent scientifically and standardly, and continuously improve the quality of talent selection.
树立科学的人才选拔理念，强化复试综合考查，坚持能力与知识考核并重，着力加强对考生创新精神和能力、专业兴趣和素养等方面的考查；注重考生一贯表现，既重视初试成绩，也重视既往学业表现和潜在能力素质。充分发挥和规范导师群体在复试选拔中的作用，进一步明确导师群体的学术权力和责任，提高导师群体科学规范选拔人才的能力，不断提高人才选拔质量。
Strengthen integrity assessment and reinforce the requirements for candidates’ integrity. Strictly deal with candidates who cheat, and for those who falsify, violate examination regulations, or cheat, regardless of when it is verified and determined, they shall be dealt with strictly in accordance with the “Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations” and the “Regulations on the Management of Students in Ordinary Higher Education Institutions.”
加强诚信评判，强化对考生诚信的要求。严肃处理作弊考生，对弄虚作假及考试违规、作弊考生，无论何时核查确定，一律按照《国家教育考试违规处理办法》和《普通高等学校学生管理规定》等严肃处理。
III. Re-examination Preparation Work
三、复试准备工作
(1) Selection of Re-examination Teachers
（一）复试教师的遴选
Select personnel with a strong sense of responsibility, high academic level, and good conduct to participate in the re-examination work, and strictly enforce enrollment discipline. Those who violate enrollment discipline shall be promptly discovered, resolutely corrected, and strictly dealt with.
选派责任心强、学术水平高、品行端正的人员参与复试工作，严肃招生纪律。对违反招生工作纪律者及时发现、坚决纠正、严肃处理。
(2) Qualification Review
（二）资格审查
Before the re-examination, strictly review the qualifications of candidates for re-examination. Those who do not meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education shall not be allowed to take the re-examination. The detailed materials required for the re-examination shall be notified to the candidates participating in the re-examination by the staff of the Department of Marxist Studies via telephone and email.
复试前，对复试考生资格进行严格审查。对不符合教育部规定者，不予复试。复试所需详细材料由马克思主义研究系工作人员以电话和电子邮件等方式通知参加复试的考生。
If the Department of Marxist Studies has doubts about a candidate’s academic qualifications (student status) information, the candidate shall provide a certification explanation issued by an authoritative institution as required. The identity of minority candidates shall be based on the identity card verified at the time of registration. The ethnicity column in the online registration information shall be consistent with the ethnicity item on the identity card, and no changes shall be made during the re-examination.
马克思主义研究系如对考生的学历（学籍）信息等有疑问，考生应按要求提供权威机构出具的认证说明。少数民族考生身份以报考时查验的身份证为准。网上报名信息中民族栏应与身份证民族项填写一致，复试时不得更改。
IV. Re-examination Work Methods
四、复试工作办法
(1) Re-examination Score Requirements
（一）复试分数要求
The initial examination scores of candidates entering the re-examination of the Department of Marxist Studies shall not be lower than the score line set for the law discipline in the “Basic Requirements for Initial Examination Scores for Candidates Entering the Re-examination of the 2019 National Master’s Degree Candidate Enrollment Examination (Academic Degree Category).” On this basis, the Department of Marxist Studies shall select the top five candidates in the total initial examination scores of all master’s candidates in the department to participate in the re-examination. This department implements a differential re-examination.
马克思主义研究系进入复试考生的初试成绩应不低于《2019年全国硕士研究生招生考试考生进入复试的初试成绩基本要求（学术型学位类）》中法学学科所划定的分数线，在此基础上，马克思主义研究系按全系硕士考生初试总成绩排名取前五名的考生参加复试，本系实行差额复试。
(2) Re-examination Assessment Methods
（二）复试考核方式
The re-examination consists of a written examination and an interview (including a foreign language comprehensive ability test). The total score for the re-examination is 400 points, with a passing line of 240 points. Those who fail shall not be admitted.
复试分笔试和面试(包括外语综合能力测试)，复试总分为400分，合格线为240分，不合格者不予录取。
1. Written Examination
1.笔试
Re-examination written examination time: April 2, 2019, 9:00-12:00; Written examination location: Room 1345, Academy of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Written examination subject: Marxist Classic Works, total score 150 points. The written examination score of the re-examination is included in the total re-examination score.
复试笔试时间：2019年4月2日上午9:00-12:00；笔试地点：中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院1345室；笔试科目：马克思主义经典著作，总分150分，复试笔试成绩计入复试总成绩。
2. Interview
2.面试
The interview will begin at 2:00 PM on April 2, 2019, in Room 1345, Academy of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The total score for the interview is 250 points, of which the foreign language comprehensive ability test (including listening and speaking) accounts for 50 points.
面试于2019年4月2日下午2：00开始在中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院1345室进行。面试总分为250分，其中外语综合能力测试（含听力和口语）占50分。
3. During the re-examination, the re-examination group focuses on examining the candidate’s ideological and political quality and moral character during the interview. The assessment content includes the candidate’s political attitude, ideological performance, moral character, compliance with laws and regulations, honesty and trustworthiness, etc. Those who fail the ideological and moral character assessment shall not be admitted.
3. 在复试中，复试小组在面试时注重考察考生的思想政治素质和道德品质。考核内容包括考生的政治态度、思想表现、道德品质、遵纪守法、诚实守信等方面。思想品德考核不合格者不予录取。
(3) Main Content of the Re-examination
（三）复试主要内容
Based on the training objectives and disciplinary characteristics, strengthen the assessment of candidates’ professional ability, aptitude, innovative spirit, innovation ability, and comprehensive quality. The re-examination generally includes the following basic aspects:
根据培养目标和学科特色，加强对考生专业能力、能力倾向、创新精神、创新能力和综合素质等方面的考查。复试一般包含以下基本方面：
1. Professional Quality and Ability

(1) Learning situation and grades during the university stage;

(2) University graduation thesis and published papers;
(2)大学毕业论文和发表论文情况；
(3) Comprehensive assessment of the candidate’s mastery of theoretical knowledge and application skills in this discipline (specialty), ability to discover, analyze, and solve problems using the learned theory, understanding of the development trends of this discipline, and potential for development in this professional field;
(3)全面考核考生对本学科（专业）理论知识和应用技能掌握程度，利用所学理论发现、分析和解决问题的能力，对本学科发展动态的了解以及在本专业领域发展的潜力；
(4) Foreign language comprehensive ability test, including listening and speaking abilities;
(4)外语综合能力测试，包括听说等能力；
(5) Innovative spirit and innovation ability.

2. Comprehensive Quality and Ability
2.综合素质和能力
(1) Ideological and political quality and moral character, etc.;
(1)思想政治素质和道德品质等;
(2) Learning, scientific research, social practice (student work, club activities, volunteer services, etc.) or actual work performance outside this discipline (specialty);
(2)本学科（专业）以外的学习、科研、社会实践（学生工作、社团活动、志愿服务等）或实际工作表现等方面的情况；
(3) Dedication, sense of responsibility, discipline (compliance with laws and regulations), cooperativeness, and mental health status;
(3)事业心、责任感、纪律性（遵纪守法）、协作性和心理健康情况；
(4) Humanistic literacy;

(5) Demeanor, expression, and etiquette, etc.

(4) Political Review and Physical Examination
（四）政审及体检
The political review is conducted simultaneously during the re-examination period. The assessment of ideological and political quality and moral character is not quantified and included in the total score, but those who fail the assessment result shall not be admitted.
政审在复试期间同时进行，思想政治素质和道德品质考核不作量化计入总成绩，但考核结果不合格者不予录取。
The physical examination is conducted at a hospital designated by the Graduate School, to be completed before April 12. The expenses are borne by the candidates themselves. If there are items requiring re-examination, they should be re-examined promptly as required. Those who fail the physical examination shall not be admitted.
体检在研究生院指定的医院进行，于4月12日之前完成，费用由考生自理，如有需复查的项目应及时按要求复检，体检不合格者不予录取。
(5) Evaluation and Calculation of Scores
（五）成绩的评定及计算
The re-examination score is the sum of the written examination and interview assessment scores. Those who fail the re-examination score shall not be admitted. The total admission examination score for master’s candidates in the Department of Marxist Studies is the sum of the initial examination score (total 500 points) and the re-examination score (total 400 points).
复试成绩为笔试和面试考核成绩之和。复试成绩不合格者，不予录取。马克思主义研究系硕士的入学考试总成绩为初试成绩（总分500分）和复试成绩（总分400分）之和。
(6) Time and Method of Information Publication
（六）信息公布时间和方式
The Department of Marxist Studies will promptly publish relevant information on the 2019 master’s degree candidate re-examination and admission in accordance with the relevant requirements of the graduate enrollment examination work. Information publication website: Marxist Studies Network (http://myy.cssn.cn/).
马克思主义研究系会按研究生招生考试工作相关要求及时公布2019年硕士研究生复试及录取的相关信息。信息公布网站：马克思主义研究网(http://myy.cssn.cn/）。
The initial examination scores and re-examination list of candidates participating in the re-examination will be published before the re-examination; the re-examination scores and total scores will be published after the re-examination; the proposed admission list will be published before April 12, 2019 (after which the admissions office will uniformly publicize it for no less than 10 working days).
参加复试考生的初试成绩、复试名单等于复试前公布；复试成绩、总成绩于复试结束后公布；拟录取名单于2019年4月12日前公布（之后招生办公室将统一公示不少于10个工作日）。
(7) Adjustment
（七）调剂
Candidates who have not entered the re-examination of this department but meet the adjustment conditions, as well as candidates who are not admitted by this department after the re-examination, may quickly adjust to other enrollment units through the “National Master’s Student Adjustment Service System” on the China Graduate Enrollment Information Network (yz.chsi.com.cn).
没有进入本系复试但符合调剂条件的考生，以及复试后未被本系录取的考生，可通过中国研招网（yz.chsi.com.cn）“全国硕士生招生调剂服务系统”尽快调剂到其他招生单位。
The opening date of the “National Master’s Student Adjustment Service System” is from March 20 to April 30, 2019. For specific requirements for adjustment and instructions on using the adjustment service system, please refer to the page descriptions in the relevant columns of the China Graduate Enrollment Information Network.
“全国硕士生招生调剂服务系统”的开放日期为2019年3月20日至4月30日，调剂的具体要求和调剂服务系统的使用方法详见中国研招网相关栏目的页面说明。
