Call for Papers: Sixth National Forum on Studies of Marxism in Foreign Countries (2019)

The year 2019 coincides with the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. In order to comprehensively review and summarize the history of studies of Marxism in foreign countries, track and grasp the latest progress and dynamics of studies of Marxism in foreign countries, continuously deepen studies of Marxism in foreign countries, draw on the intellectual achievements of Marxism in foreign countries, and innovatively develop 21st-century Marxism and contemporary Chinese Marxism, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, jointly with China University of Mining and Technology (Xuzhou), and with the support of the World Socialism Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, will host the “Sixth National Forum on Studies of Marxism in Foreign Countries (2019).” The theme of the forum is “70 Years of Studies of Marxism in Foreign Countries.”

2019年恰逢新中国成立70周年。为全面回顾总结国外马克思主义研究的历史，追踪与把握国外马克思主义研究的最新进展和动态，不断深化国外马克思主义研究，借鉴国外马克思主义的思想成果，创新发展21世纪马克思主义、当代中国马克思主义，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院与中国矿业大学（徐州）联合主办、中国社会科学院世界社会主义研究中心协办“第六届全国国外马克思主义研究论坛（2019）”，论坛主题为“国外马克思主义研究70年”。

I. This forum will focus on the conference theme and discuss in depth the following topics:

To ensure the success of this forum, we welcome submissions from experts and scholars in relevant research fields at all academies of social sciences, research institutions, universities and colleges, Party schools, schools of administration, military academies, and related institutions.

为了开好本次论坛，欢迎全国各社科院、科研机构、高等院校、党校、行政学院、军队院校与相关研究领域的专家学者踊跃投稿。

Papers must adhere to the Marxist standpoint, viewpoint, and method, closely follow the theme and topics, and highlight ideological, academic, and practical significance. Papers must be original works that have not been published, with a length of approximately 8,000 characters. The author’s name, institution, position/title, and contact information must be provided at the end of the paper. The format and style of papers, notes, and references should follow those of *World Socialism Studies*, published by the World Socialism Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Outstanding papers will be recommended for publication in that journal. The deadline for paper submission is September 30, 2019.

论文须坚持马克思主义的立场、观点和方法，紧扣主题和论题，突出思想性、学术性和实践性；论文须是未公开发表的原创成果，篇幅在8000字左右；文后须提供作者的姓名、单位、职务/职称和联系方式等。论文、注释和参考文献的格式和体例请参考中国社科院世界社会主义研究中心主办的《世界社会主义研究》，优秀论文将推荐发表在该刊物上。论文截止日期为2019年9月30日。

When submitting, please send the electronic version of the paper (paper submissions will not be accepted) to the email address: gwmkszy2018@sina.com. The format of the email subject line should be: Paper Title + Institution + Name.

投稿时请将论文的电子版（不接受纸质稿）发至电子邮箱：gwmkszy2018@sina.com，邮件标题的格式为：论文题目+工作单位+姓名。

We will organize experts to review the papers and send electronic versions of official invitation letters to those whose papers are selected by October 10. The printed version of the official invitation letter will be provided upon registration.

届时我们将组织专家对论文进行评审，并于10月10日前向论文入选者发出正式邀请函的电子版，报到时发正式邀请函的纸质版。

IV. Conference Fees

This forum will not charge a registration fee. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip transportation and accommodation expenses.

本次论坛不收取会务费，参会人员的往返交通费和住宿费自理。
