In accordance with the spirit of the documents of the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Education Examination Authority, the Department of Marxist Studies of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Graduate School), in order to properly carry out the 2019 doctoral re-examination and admissions work, now, in light of the specific circumstances of this department, arranges the relevant work for the 2019 doctoral student admissions re-examination and admissions as follows:
根据教育部和北京教育考试院文件精神，中国社会科学院大学(研究生院)马克思主义研究系为做好2019年博士研究生复试录取工作，现结合本系具体情况,就 2019年博士生招生复试录取相关工作安排如下：
I. Qualification Review
一、资格审查
Before the re-examination, the Department of Marxist Studies will verify the re-examination candidates’ identity cards, admission tickets, degree certificates, academic qualification certificates, and other relevant original documents; current master’s degree students must submit their student ID cards. Those who do not meet the Ministry of Education regulations will not be allowed to take the re-examination.
复试前，马克思主义研究系将查验复试考生的身份证、准考证、学位证书、学历证书原件等相关材料,应届硕士毕业生交验学生证。对不符合教育部规定者，不予复试。
For those who engage in fraud, cheating, or other violations during the examination, regardless of when it is verified and determined, they will be dealt with severely in accordance with the *Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations* and the *Regulations on the Management of Students in Regular Institutions of Higher Learning*.
对弄虚作假及考试违规、作弊考生，无论何时核查确定，一律按照《国家教育考试违规处理办法》和《普通高等学校学生管理规定》等严肃处理。
II. Preliminary Examination Score Requirements for Candidates Entering the Re-examination for the 2019 Department of Marxist Studies Doctoral Admissions
二、2019年马克思主义研究系博士招生进入复试考生的初试成绩要求
English not lower than 44 points, minor foreign languages not lower than 60 points, specialized course one not lower than 60 points, specialized course two not lower than 65 points, total score not lower than 185 points.
英语不低于44分，小语种不低于60分，业务课一不低于60分，业务课二不低于65分，总分不低于185分。

3. Specific requirements and matters needing attention for the re-examination will be notified to the candidates entering the re-examination by the staff of the Department of Marxist Studies via telephone, email, and other means.
3、复试具体要求及注意事项等由马克思主义研究系工作人员通过电话、电子邮件等方式通知进入复试考生。
IV. Re-examination Assessment Methods
四、复试考核方式
This doctoral admissions re-examination is a differential re-examination. The re-examination assessment mainly includes an examination of the candidate’s academic level, an assessment of ideological and political quality and moral character, and a physical examination.
本次博士招生复试为差额复试，复试考核主要包括对考生学术水平的考查、思想政治素质和品德考核及体格检查等。
1. Examination of Academic Level
1、学术水平考察
The re-examination adopts an interview format. The re-examination panel, mainly based on the professional training requirements, examines the candidate’s ability to comprehensively apply the knowledge they have learned, their grasp of frontier knowledge and the latest research trends in this discipline, and, with reference to the candidate’s application materials, assesses whether they possess the potential and comprehensive quality for doctoral training.
复试采取面试的方式。复试小组主要根据专业培养要求，考察考生综合运用所学知识的能力、对本学科前沿知识及最新研究动态掌握情况，参考考生申请材料，测评其是否具备博士生培养的潜能和综合素质。
2. Ideological and Political Moral Character Assessment
2、思想政治道德考核
The assessment content mainly includes the candidate’s political attitude, ideological performance, learning (work) attitude, moral character, compliance with laws and regulations, and other aspects. The ideological and political moral character assessment is not quantified into the total score, but candidates with an unqualified assessment result will not be admitted. A political review will be conducted simultaneously during the re-examination period.
考核内容主要包括考生的政治态度、思想表现、学习（工作）态度、道德品质、遵纪守法等方面。思想政治道德考核不做量化计入总成绩，但考核结果不合格者不予录取。政审在复试期间同时进行。
3. Physical Examination
3、体检
The physical examination will be conducted at a hospital designated by the school and must be completed by May 15. Individual candidates who need follow-up examinations, especially those from outside the city, should promptly complete the examination of the follow-up items.
体检在学校指定的医院进行，于5月15日之前完成。个别需复查的考生尤其外地考生，应及时完成复查项目的检查。
V. Assessment and Calculation of Re-examination Scores
五、复试成绩的评定及计算
1. The total re-examination score is 200 points, with 120 points being the passing mark. Candidates with an unqualified re-examination score will not be admitted.
1、复试总成绩200分，120分为合格。复试成绩不合格者不予录取。
2. The re-examination includes a professional ability interview worth 150 points and a foreign language comprehensive ability test worth 50 points.
2、复试含专业能力面试150分、外国语综合能力测试50分。
VI. Time and Method of Information Publication
六、信息公布的时间和方式
1. Publication time: The re-examination work plan and list of re-examination candidates will be published before the re-examination; the re-examination results will be published after the re-examination concludes; the list of proposed admitted candidates will begin to be publicized from May 24, 2019.

VII. Supervision and Appeal of the Re-examination
七、复试的监督和复议
The re-examination is conducted under the guidance and supervision of the school’s and the Department of Marxist Studies’ graduate admissions re-examination and admissions leadership groups. Candidates who have objections to the re-examination results may appeal to this department’s re-examination and admissions leadership group before May 20.
复试在学校和马克思主义研究系研究生招生复试、录取工作领导小组的指导与监督下进行，考生对复试结果有异议，可于5月20日前向本系复试、录取工作领导小组进行申诉。
