Party political building is the fundamental building of the Party. In order to deeply study and grasp the spirit of the Party Central Committee’s “Opinions on Strengthening the Party’s Political Building,”[1]1 “Opinions on Strengthening the Party’s Political Building” — a document issued by the Party Central Committee in early 2019, emphasizing the primacy of political building within the overall framework of Party building. summarize the basic experience and great achievements of the Party’s political building in the 70 years since the founding of New China, help advance the great project of Party building in the New Era, implement the requirement of “using scholarship to serve politics,” and guide Party cadres and members to enhance their consciousness and firmness in advancing the Party’s political building, the Propaganda Department of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the CPC, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Guizhou Normal University plan to jointly host the First “Guiyang Forum on Marxism in the New Era” and the “Academic Symposium on the 70 Years of Party Political Building since the Founding of New China.” The specific arrangements are as follows:

党的政治建设是党的根本性建设。为深入学习领会党中央《关于加强党的政治建设的意见》精神，总结新中国70年以来党的政治建设的基本经验和伟大成就，助力推进新时代党的建设伟大工程，贯彻“用学术讲政治”的要求，引导党员干部增强推进党的政治建设的自觉性坚定性，中共贵州省委宣传部、中国社科院马克思主义研究院、贵州师范大学拟联合主办首届“新时代马克思主义贵阳论坛”暨“新中国70年党的政治建设学术研讨会”。具体事宜如下：

By rail — From Guiyang Railway Station, take bus No. 17 or No. 253, get off at Shida (Normal University) stop, fare 2 yuan, travel time about 25 minutes. By taxi, about 15 minutes, fare about 20 yuan.

铁路到达——由贵阳火车站乘坐17路、253路公交车，到师大站下车，票价2元，车程约25分钟。如乘坐出租车约15分钟，车费约20元。

From Guiyang North Station, take bus No. 262, get off at Shida stop, fare 2 yuan, travel time about 30 minutes. By taxi, about 20 minutes, fare about 30 yuan.

由贵阳北站乘坐262路公交车，到师大站下车，票价2元，车程约30分钟。如乘坐出租车约20分钟，车费约30元。

By air — Take the airport bus from Guiyang Airport to Jinyang, get off at the Normal University gate, fare 10 yuan; by taxi, about 20 minutes, fare about 35 yuan.

航空到达——乘贵阳机场至金阳的机场大巴，在师大门口下车，票价10元；乘坐出租车约20分钟，车费约35元。

IV. Conference Fees

The conference does not charge a registration fee. Round-trip transportation and accommodation costs are to be borne by participants. Meals and materials during the conference will be covered by the conference organizer.

会议不收取会务费，往返交通费和住宿费自理，会议期间餐费与资料费等由会议承办单位负责。

V. Other Matters

1. Scholars who confirm participation are requested to submit an unpublished academic paper of approximately 9,000 words (electronic version) to the conference. The paper should be relevant to the theme, with a clear focus, correct viewpoints, concentrated argumentation, and accurate and standardized citations. Please send the paper to the designated email address before August 10, so that it can be compiled into a collection.

1. 请确认参会的学者向大会提交一篇9000字左右未发表的学术论文（电子版），要求做到切合主题、题意鲜明、观点正确、论述集中、引证准确规范，在8月10日前将论文发至指定邮箱，以便汇编成册。

2. Since August is the peak tourist season in Guizhou, hotel rooms must be booked in advance. Please return the “Conference Reply Form” to the designated email address or confirm by phone whether you will attend and your accommodation requirements (single room or double room sharing) before July 15.

2.由于8月份属贵州旅游旺季，须提前预订酒店房间，请收到此函后在7月15日前将“会议回执”返回指定邮箱或电话确认是否参加会议及住宿要求（单住还是2人合住）。

3. Scholars are requested not to bring family members or enrolled graduate students to the conference.
