2019 Postdoctoral Recruitment Announcement of the Academy of Marxism

In accordance with relevant documents issued by the General Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, the postdoctoral research station of the Academy of Marxism will continue to adhere to a project- and research-oriented approach in its 2019 recruitment, following the principles of “fairness, justice, openness, and择优” [1]1 “择优” (zhuoyou) means “selecting the excellent” or “merit-based selection,” a standard phrase in Chinese recruitment contexts., and plans to recruit three state-funded postdoctoral researchers.

根据国办、人社部和全国博士后管理委员会下发的相关文件，马克思主义研究院博士后流动站2019年度招收工作继续坚持以课题及研究项目为导向，按照“公平、公正、公开、择优”的原则，拟招收国家资助类博士后工作人员3名。

I. Recruitment Conditions

一、招收条件

(1) Possess good political quality and moral cultivation, abide by laws and regulations;

（一）具有良好的政治素质和道德修养，遵纪守法；

(2) Must have published at least two academic papers as sole author or first author in core journals during the doctoral period; if no papers have been published, the doctoral dissertation must be rated as “excellent”; the journals for published papers shall refer to the *General Catalogue of Chinese Core Journals*, the *Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index*, and the *Evaluation Report of Chinese Humanities and Social Science Journals*.

（二）应于博士期间独著或作为第一作者在核心期刊发表至少两篇学术论文；无论文发表者，博士毕业论文应被评为“优秀”；论文发表期刊参照《中文核心期刊要目总览》《中文社会科学引文索引》《中国人文社会科学期刊评价报告》。

(3) Have a relatively good academic background and strong research ability, with a certain level of academic accumulation in the field of study, demonstrating clear research potential;

（三）学术背景较好、研究能力较强，在所从事的学科领域具有一定学术积累，表现出较强的科研潜力；

(4) Be in good health and under the age of 35;

（四）身体健康，年龄在35周岁以下；

(5) Work full-time on postdoctoral research during the term of stay at the station;

（五）在站期间全职从事博士后研究工作；

(6) Staff of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences are not eligible to apply for postdoctoral positions at the Academy;

（六）中国社会科学院工作人员不得申请在本院做博士后；

(7) This station does not accept doctoral graduates trained in the first-level discipline of Marxist studies at our Academy for postdoctoral research at this station, nor does it recruit leading cadres from Party and government organs for on-the-job postdoctoral research.

（七）本站不接收我院马克思主义研究一级学科培养的博士毕业生在本流动站从事博士后研究工作，不招收党政机关领导干部在职进站从事博士后研究。

Marxist principles, adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, history of Marxist development, scientific socialism and the international communist movement, ideological and political education, history of the Communist Party of China and Party building, etc.

马克思主义原理、马克思主义中国化、马克思主义发展史、科学社会主义与国际共产主义运动、思想政治教育、中共党史与党建等。

三、在站期间待遇

(1) Daily funding: Implemented in accordance with the requirements of the “Notice on Adjusting the Standard for Daily Funding of Postdoctoral Researchers” jointly issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance;

（一）日常经费：按照人力资源社会保障部 财政部联合下发的“关于调整博士后日常经费标准的通知”要求执行；

(2) Enjoy social insurance and housing provident fund;

（二）享受社会保险及公积金；

(3) This station does not provide postdoctoral apartments; accommodation must be arranged by the individual;

（三）本站不提供博士后公寓，住宿需自行解决；

IV. Requirements for Application Materials

四、申报材料要求

(1) Postdoctoral application form of the Academy of Marxism (available for download in the attachment and to be filled out);

（一）马研院博士后申请表（可见附件下载填写）；

Among these, supporting materials for papers, works, awards, and undertaken projects (one photocopy each). Papers must submit the journal cover, table of contents, and the first and last pages of the author’s article; works must submit the work cover and copyright page; awards must submit the certificate; undertaken projects must submit the project approval or completion document; articles intended for publication but not yet published must submit a “Notice of Intended Acceptance” stamped by the editorial department of the journal;

其中涉及的论文、著作、奖励及承担项目的证明材料（复印件一份）。论文需提交刊物封面、目录及作者文章首末页；著作需提交著作封面及版权页；奖励需提交证书；承担项目需提交项目立项书或结项书；拟采用但未发表的文章需提交由该刊编辑部盖章的“拟采用通知书”；

(2) One photocopy of the doctoral degree certificate or one photocopy of the “Resolution of the Doctoral Dissertation Defense Committee”;

（二）博士学位证书复印件或“博士学位论文答辩委员会决议书”复印件一份。

(3) One copy of the doctoral dissertation;

（三）博士学位论文一本；

(4) One photocopy of a valid personal identification document;

（四）本人有效证件复印件一份；

(5) A recent medical examination certificate of fitness issued by a hospital at or above the county level (blood tests must include “comprehensive biochemistry” results).

（五）近期县级以上医院出具的体检合格证明（血液检验需包含“大生化”结果）。
