Work Plan of the Marxism Studies Department for Receiving Outstanding Current-Year Undergraduate Graduates Exempted from the Master’s Entrance Examination in 2020

In accordance with the relevant requirements of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for receiving outstanding current-year undergraduate graduates exempted from the master’s entrance examination in 2020, and in light of the specific circumstances of our department, the work plan of the Marxism Studies Department for receiving recommended exemption students in 2020 is hereby announced as follows:

根据中国社会科学院大学2020年接收优秀应届本科毕业生免试攻读硕士学位研究生工作的相关要求，结合我系具体情况，现将马克思主义研究系2020年接收推荐免试生工作方案公布如下：

I. Application Conditions

一、申请条件

Persons applying for recommended exemption to pursue a master’s degree in our department must meet the following application conditions:

申请推荐免试攻读我系硕士学位研究生的人员，须符合以下申请条件：

(1) Citizens of the People’s Republic of China.

⑴中华人民共和国公民。

(2) Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, support the socialist system, be willing to serve socialist modernization, have the spirit of dedication to the scientific cause of the motherland and have research potential, have good moral character, abide by laws and regulations, have ideals and aspirations, study diligently, be good at thinking, and have a sense of innovation.

⑵拥护中国共产党的领导，拥护社会主义制度，愿为社会主义现代化建设服务，有为祖国科学事业献身精神且有科研潜力，道德品德良好，遵纪守法，有理想，有抱负，刻苦学习，勤于思考，有创新意识。

(3) Must be outstanding current-year undergraduate graduates who have already obtained recommended exemption qualifications in 2020.

⑶须为已取得推荐免试资格的2020年优秀应届本科毕业生。

(4) Physical health conditions meet the physical examination requirements stipulated by the state and the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

⑷身体健康状况符合国家和中国社科院大学规定的体检要求。

II. Application Procedure

二、申请程序

1. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education documents, recommended exemption students must register online. The Marxism Studies Department will strictly carry out the work of receiving recommended exemption students in accordance with the specialties, directions, and quotas for receiving recommended exemption students published in the “University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2020 Master’s Degree Enrollment Specialty Catalog,” and plans to receive 3 recommended exemption students. After September 28, 2019, recommended exemption students log in to the “National Information Disclosure and Management Service System for Recommending Outstanding Current-Year Undergraduate Graduates Exempted from the Master’s Entrance Examination” (hereinafter referred to as the “Recommended Exemption Service System,” website: http://yz.chsi.com.cn/tm), fill in and submit relevant information. Applicants who do not register through the Graduate Admissions Information Network’s “Recommended Exemption Service System” will not be admitted.

1.根据教育部文件要求，推免生实行网上报名。马克思主义研究系严格按照《中国社会科学院大学2020年硕士研究生招生专业目录》中公布的接收推免生的专业、方向和名额进行接收工作，拟接收推免生3人。2019年9月28日后，推免生登录“全国推荐优秀应届本科毕业生免试攻读研究生信息公开暨管理服务系统”（以下简称“推免服务系统”网址：http://yz.chsi.com.cn/tm），填写并提交相关信息。未经研招网“推免服务系统”报名的申请者不予录取。

2. After September 28, 2019, the Marxism Studies Department will review the materials submitted by recommended exemption students, determine the re-examination qualification, issue a re-examination notice to applicants in the “Recommended Exemption Service System,” and organize the re-examination. Applicants notified of the re-examination must submit the following materials to our department before the re-examination:

2.2019年9月28日后，马克思主义研究系根据推免生提交的材料进行审核，确定复试资格后在“推免服务系统”中对申请者发出复试通知并组织复试。被通知复试的申请者须在复试前向本系提交以下材料：

(1) “University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2020 Application Form for Receiving Recommended Exemption for Master’s Degree” (see attachment);

（1）《中国社会科学院大学2020年接收推荐免试攻读硕士学位申请表》（见附件）；

(2) Transcript of undergraduate course grades (must be stamped with the official seal of the academic affairs management department of the recommending university);

（2）本科阶段学习成绩单（须加盖推荐高校教务管理部门公章）；

(3) Relevant forms that need to be submitted during online registration;

（3）网上报名时需要提交的相关表格；

(4) Published papers, books (translations);

（4）公开发表的论文、著（译）作；

(5) Award certificates, etc.

（5）获奖证书等。

3. Political review, physical examination, etc., will be organized and completed by the Marxism Studies Department during the re-examination stage; those who are unqualified will not be admitted.

4. The Marxism Studies Department will conclude the re-examination work for proposed recommended exemption students before October 11, 2019. Recommended exemption students who fail to obtain their undergraduate graduation certificate and bachelor’s degree before enrollment (based on the enrollment date announced by the school for that year), or who have been disciplined or have engaged in academic misconduct, will not be admitted.

4.马克思主义研究系于2019年10月11日前结束拟接收推免生复试工作。入学（以当年学校公布的入学时间为准）前未取得本科毕业证书、学士学位以及受过处分或有学术不端行为的推免生不予录取。

III. Re-examination Arrangements

三、复试安排

1. Re-examination time: October 8 to 9, 2019 (including written examination, interview, physical examination, etc.).

1.复试时间：2019年10月8日至9日（含笔试、面试、体检等）。

2. Re-examination format and scores: The re-examination consists of a written examination and an interview, with a total score of 300 points and a passing line of 180 points. Among them, the written examination subject is Marxist Theory, with a total score of 150 points and a passing line of 90 points; the interview has a total score of 150 points and a passing line of 90 points, and the interview includes a professional ability interview of 100 points and a foreign language comprehensive ability test (including listening and speaking) of 50 points. Those who fail will not be admitted.

2.复试形式及分值：复试分笔试和面试，总分300分，合格线为180分。其中笔试科目：马克思主义理论，总分150分，合格线为90分；面试总分150分，合格线为90分，面试包括专业能力面试100分、外语综合能力测试（含听力和口语）50分。不合格者不予录取。

4. Re-examination content: The Marxism Studies Department organizes an assessment panel of more than five people to conduct a comprehensive assessment of applicants’ learning ability, research ability, innovative spirit, and ideological and moral character. If recommended exemption students have objections to our department’s recommended exemption work, they may appeal to the department’s re-examination assessment panel.

4.复试内容：马克思主义研究系组织五人以上的考核小组，对申请者的学习能力、科研能力、创新精神以及思想品德等诸方面进行全面考核。推免生对本系的推荐免试工作有异议的，可向系复试考核小组提起申诉。
