Call for Papers: Academic Symposium on the Practical Exploration and Theoretical Innovation of Completing the Building of a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects

Completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects by 2020 and realizing the first centenary goal is a solemn commitment our Party has made to the people and to history. Completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects is a key step in realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and holds great significance in the history of the Chinese nation’s development. Standing at the historical intersection of the “two centenary goals,”[1]1 The “two centenary goals” refer to the goals of completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects by the centenary of the CPC’s founding in 2021, and building China into a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, and harmonious by the centenary of the People’s Republic of China in 2049. in order to review and summarize the practical process and theoretical achievements of the first centenary goal and to look ahead to the bright prospects of the second centenary goal, the China Political Economy Society and the School of Marxism of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics plan to jointly hold the “Academic Symposium on the Practical Exploration and Theoretical Innovation of Completing the Building of a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects” from May 22 to 24, 2020. We now cordially invite experts and scholars from the national ideological and theoretical circles to contribute papers to this conference, to exchange ideas through scholarship, and to jointly discuss and summarize the theoretical achievements and practical experience of completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.

到2020年全面建成小康社会，实现第一个百年奋斗目标，是我们党向人民、向历史作出的庄严承诺。全面建成小康社会，是实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的关键一步，在中华民族发展史上具有重大意义。站在 “两个一百年”目标的历史交汇点上，为了回顾和总结第一个百年目标实践进程和理论成果，展望第二个百年目标的光明前景，中国政治经济学学会与上海对外经贸大学马克思主义学院拟于2020年5月22日至24日共同举办“全面建成小康社会的实践探索和理论创新”学术研讨会”，现诚邀全国思想理论界的专家学者向本次会议赐稿，以文会友，共同探讨与总结全面建成小康社会的理论成就与实践经验。

This conference takes “Practical Exploration and Theoretical Innovation of Completing the Building of a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects” as its theme. 1. The theme should be prominent, the argument rigorous, and the work should reflect academic quality and innovation.

1.主题突出、论证严密，体现学术性和创新性。

2. Annotations should follow standard format, citations should be accurate, and annotations should use footnotes, renumbered on each page.

2.注释规范，引文准确，注释采用页下注，每页重新编号。

3. WORD document, main text in size 5 font, subtitles in bold size small 4 font, 1.5 line spacing.

3. WORD文档，正文用5号字，文中小标题用黑体小4号，1.5倍行距。

4. The main body of the paper should be 8,000 to 12,000 characters, with an abstract (300-500 characters), keywords (3-5), author biography, and detailed contact information (mailing address, phone number, and email) attached before the text.

4.论文正文以8000至12000字为宜，文前附内容摘要（300-500字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介及详细联系方式(通信地址、手机号和邮箱)。

5. The submission deadline is April 30, 2020. Submitted papers should be sent to the conference organizing committee.
