In accordance with the “Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Properly Conducting the 2020 National Master’s Degree Candidate Re-examination Work” (Teaching Hall [2020] No. 4) and relevant document requirements of the Beijing Municipal Admissions Examination Committee, and in conjunction with the specific circumstances of this Department and the “Work Plan for the 2020 Master’s Degree Candidate Re-examination and Admission of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences,” this Work Plan and Notice for the 2020 Master’s Degree Candidate Re-examination and Admission of the Department of Marxist Studies, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Graduate School) is hereby formulated, with the content as follows:

根据《教育部办公厅关于做好2020年全国硕士研究生复试工作的通知》（教学厅﹝2020﹞4号）及北京市招生考试委员会相关文件要求，结合《中国社会科学院大学2020年硕士研究生招生复试录取工作方案》和本系具体情况，特制定中国社会科学院大学（研究生院）马克思主义研究系2020年硕士研究生招生复试工作方案及复试通知，内容如下：

I. Re-examination Organization and Management

一、复试组织管理

This Department establishes and improves its organizational management structure, forming a re-examination work group of no fewer than three persons, headed by the Department Director, with the participation of personnel from relevant disciplinary inspection and supervision departments. [1]1 Disciplinary inspection and supervision (纪检监察) refers to the Party and state organs responsible for enforcing discipline and combating corruption within the Chinese Communist Party and government. Under the guidance of the re-examination work group, a re-examination group for the discipline of Marxist theory is established, with no fewer than five members. Under the guidance of the Department re-examination work group, this re-examination group is responsible for determining the specific content, scoring standards, and procedures for candidate interviews and practical ability assessments, ensuring the smooth conduct of the online remote re-examination. The 2020 master’s degree candidate re-examination and admission work of this Department will make relevant preparations and handle emergency incidents in accordance with the university’s overall epidemic prevention and control requirements.

本系建立健全组织管理机构，成立以系主任为组长的不少于三人的复试工作小组，有纪检相关部门人员参与。在复试工作小组的指导下成立马克思主义理论学科复试小组，成员不少于五人。复试小组在系复试工作小组指导下，负责确定考生面试和实践能力考核的具体内容、评分标准和程序等，确保网络远程复试的顺利进行。本系2020年硕士研究生招生复试录取工作将按学校疫情防控总体要求做好相关准备工作和突发事件处置工作。

II. Re-examination Work Requirements

二、复试工作要求

Establish a scientific concept of talent selection, strengthen comprehensive assessment in the re-examination, adhere to equal emphasis on the assessment of ability and knowledge, and focus on examining candidates’ innovative spirit and ability, professional interest and literacy, etc.; pay attention to candidates’ consistent performance, valuing both initial examination scores and past academic performance and potential ability and quality. Fully leverage and standardize the role of the supervisor group in re-examination selection, further clarify the academic authority and responsibility of the supervisor group, enhance the ability of the supervisor group to scientifically and standardly select talent, and continuously improve the quality of talent selection.

树立科学的人才选拔理念，强化复试综合考查，坚持能力与知识考核并重，着力加强对考生创新精神和能力、专业兴趣和素养等方面的考查；注重考生一贯表现，既重视初试成绩，也重视既往学业表现和潜在能力素质。充分发挥和规范导师群体在复试选拔中的作用，进一步明确导师群体的学术权力和责任，提高导师群体科学规范选拔人才的能力，不断提高人才选拔质量。

Strengthen integrity assessment, and reinforce the requirements for candidate integrity. Severely handle candidates who cheat, and for those who engage in fraud and examination violations, regardless of when they are verified and determined, they shall be dealt with severely in accordance with the “Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations” and the “Regulations on the Management of Students in Ordinary Institutions of Higher Learning,” among others.

加强诚信评判，强化对考生诚信的要求。严肃处理作弊考生，对弄虚作假及考试违规的作弊考生，无论何时核查确定，一律按照《国家教育考试违规处理办法》和《普通高等学校学生管理规定》等严肃处理。

III. Re-examination Preparatory Work

三、复试准备工作

(I) Selection of Re-examination Teachers

（一）复试教师的遴选

This Department selects personnel with a strong sense of responsibility, high academic level, and upright conduct to participate in re-examination work, and strictly enforces admissions discipline. Those who violate admissions work discipline shall be promptly identified, resolutely corrected, and severely dealt with.

本系选派责任心强、学术水平高、品行端正的人员参与复试工作，严肃招生纪律。对违反招生工作纪律者及时发现、坚决纠正、严肃处理。

(II) Qualification Review

（二）资格审查

Before the re-examination, this Department conducts a strict review of the qualifications of re-examination candidates. Staff of the Department of Marxist Studies will notify candidates participating in the re-examination by telephone and email, and inform candidates of the materials they need to submit. Candidates must guarantee the authenticity of the submitted materials; if they are unable to submit them in a timely manner due to special circumstances such as the epidemic, they should explain the situation to this Department.

复试前，本系对复试考生资格进行严格审查。由马克思主义研究系工作人员以电话和电子邮件等方式通知参加复试的考生，并通知考生需要提交的材料等。考生须保证提交材料的真实性，如因疫情等特殊影响无法及时提交应向本系说明情况。

If the Department of Marxist Studies has doubts about a candidate’s academic qualifications (student status) information, the candidate shall, as required, provide a certification explanation issued by an authoritative institution. The ethnicity field in the online registration information should be consistent with the ethnicity item on the ID card, and no changes shall be made during the re-examination. Candidates eligible for bonus points as stipulated by the Ministry of Education must submit a written application to this Department and provide relevant supporting materials.

马克思主义研究系如对考生的学历（学籍）信息等有疑问，考生应按要求提供权威机构出具的认证说明。网上报名信息中民族栏应与身份证民族项填写一致，复试时不得更改。符合教育部规定可享受加分政策的考生，需向本系提出书面申请并提交相关证明材料。

Candidates participating in this Department’s re-examination should carefully read the relevant content of the “Notice for Candidates on the 2020 Master’s Online Remote Re-examination of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences,” install and debug the equipment used for the remote re-examination in advance as required, ensure smooth communication channels, and cooperate with the Department in preparatory work such as testing and drill training for the remote re-examination system, to ensure the normal conduct of the re-examination.

参加本系复试考生应认真阅读《中国社会科学院大学2020年硕士招生网络远程复试考生须知》相关内容，按要求提前安装调试好远程复试所用的设备，保障联络方式畅通，并配合系里做好远程复试系统的测试及演练培训等准备工作，以保证复试的正常进行。

IV. Re-examination Work Methods

四、复试工作办法

(I) Re-examination Score Requirements

（一）复试分数要求

The initial examination scores of candidates entering the re-examination of the Department of Marxist Studies should not be lower than the score line set by the “Basic Requirements for Initial Examination Scores for Candidates Entering the Re-examination of the 2020 National Master’s Degree Admissions Examination (Academic Degree Category).” In 2020, this Department’s master’s enrollment implements a differential re-examination, with 11 candidates passing the initial examination line, and 8 persons to be selected for admission after the re-examination based on merit.

马克思主义研究系进入复试考生的初试成绩应不低于《2020年全国硕士研究生招生考试考生进入复试的初试成绩基本要求（学术型学位类）》所划定的分数线。2020年本系硕士招生实行差额复试，上线考生11人，经复试拟择优录取8人。

(II) Re-examination Assessment Methods

（二）复试考核方式

The 2020 master’s degree candidate re-examination work of this Department adopts an online remote re-examination method, mainly including a comprehensive professional ability interview and a comprehensive foreign language ability test (including listening, speaking, translation, and other abilities).

本系2020年硕士研究生招生复试工作采取网络远程复试方式开展，主要包括专业综合能力面试和外语综合能力测试（含听、说、译等能力）。

1. Comprehensive foreign language ability test time: May 18, 2020, 9:00 AM

3. Additional course examinations for candidates with equivalent academic qualifications [2]2 Equivalent academic qualifications (同等学力) refers to candidates who do not hold a bachelor’s degree but are deemed to have an equivalent level of learning, typically through work experience or other study. begin at 1:00 PM on May 18, conducted through online video monitoring for answer testing. Examination subjects: Classic Works of Marxism, History of Scientific Socialism. The full score for a single subject paper is 100 points, with an examination time of 2 hours.

3.同等学力专业课程加试于5月18日下午1：00开始，通过线上视频监控方式进行答题测试。考试科目：马克思主义经典著作、科学社会主义史。单科试卷满分为100分，考试时间2小时。

4. During the re-examination, the re-examination group focuses on examining the candidate’s political and ideological quality and moral character during the interview. The assessment content includes the candidate’s political attitude, ideological performance, moral character, law-abidingness, honesty and trustworthiness, and other aspects. Candidates who fail the ideological and moral character assessment will not be admitted.

4. 在复试中，复试小组在面试时注重考察考生的思想政治素质和道德品质。考核内容包括考生的政治态度、思想表现、道德品质、遵纪守法、诚实守信等方面。思想品德考核不合格者不予录取。

(III) Main Content of the Re-examination

Based on training objectives and disciplinary characteristics, strengthen the assessment of candidates’ professional ability, aptitude, innovative spirit, innovative ability, and comprehensive quality. The re-examination mainly includes two basic aspects: professional quality and ability, and comprehensive quality and ability:

(1) Learning situation and grades during the university stage;

(3) The candidate’s mastery of theoretical knowledge and application skills in this discipline (specialty), ability to use learned theories to discover, analyze, and solve problems, understanding of the development trends of this discipline, and potential for development in this professional field;

(3)考生对本学科（专业）理论知识和应用技能掌握程度，利用所学理论发现、分析、解决问题的能力，对本学科发展动态的了解以及在本专业领域发展的潜力；

(4) Comprehensive foreign language ability test (including “minor languages”), including listening and speaking abilities;

(5) Innovative spirit and innovative ability.

(3) Sense of career, sense of responsibility, discipline (law-abidingness), cooperativeness, and mental health status, etc.

(IV) Political and Ideological Quality and Moral Character Assessment and Physical Examination

（四）思想政治素质和道德品质考核及体检

Candidates should submit, during the re-examination period, political and ideological quality and moral character assessment materials issued by the Party organization (Party committee, sub-Party committee, general Party branch), personnel, or political work department of their work unit or archival unit. The political and ideological quality and moral character assessment is not quantified and included in the total score, but candidates with an unqualified assessment result will not be admitted.

考生应在复试期间提交由所在单位、存档单位党组织（党委、分党委、党总支）、人事、政工部门出具的思想政治素质和道德品质鉴定材料。思想政治素质和道德品质考核不作量化计入总成绩，但考核结果不合格者不予录取。

No unified physical examination is organized during the re-examination stage. Based on the development of the epidemic situation and the progress of the re-examination work, before the overall re-examination work is completed, candidates to be admitted should undergo a physical examination at a local Grade II-A or above hospital on their own, and mail the physical examination form to this Department. Those who do not undergo the physical examination, fail the physical examination, or are found to have falsified the physical examination upon investigation will not be admitted or will have their admission qualification revoked. New students must participate in the university’s unified entrance physical examination upon registration; those who fail the physical examination will be dealt with according to relevant regulations.

复试阶段不统一组织体检。根据疫情发展情况和复试工作进展情况，在整体复试工作结束之前，拟录取考生到当地二甲以上医院自行体检，并将体检表邮寄至本系。未进行体检、体检不合格者、经查实在体检中弄虚作假者不予录取或取消录取资格。新生报到时需参加学校统一入学体检，体检不合格者按相关规定处理。

(V) Score Evaluation and Calculation

（五）成绩的评定及计算

The total score for the master’s enrollment entrance examination of the Department of Marxist Studies is the sum of the initial examination score (total 500 points) and the re-examination score (total 250 points). The order of admission is determined based on the total score of the entrance examination. The re-examination score is the sum of the comprehensive professional ability interview (200 points) and the comprehensive foreign language ability test (50 points). The total re-examination score is 250 points, with a passing line of 150 points; those who fail will not be admitted. Scores from additional course examinations for candidates with equivalent academic qualifications are not included in the re-examination score, but those who fail (passing line for a single subject is 60 points) will not be admitted.

马克思主义研究系硕士招生的入学考试总成绩为初试成绩（总分500分）和复试成绩（总分250分）之和，按入学考试总成绩高低确定拟录取顺序。复试成绩为专业综合能力面试（200分）和外语综合能力测试（50分）成绩之和，复试总分为250分，合格线为150分，不合格者不予录取。同等学力加试课程的成绩不计入复试成绩，但不合格者（单科合格线为60分）不予录取。

(VI) Information Publication Time and Method

（六）信息公布时间和方式

The Department of Marxist Studies will promptly publish relevant information on the 2020 master’s degree re-examination and admission in accordance with the requirements of the graduate admissions examination work. Information publication website: Marxist Studies Network (http://myy.cssn.cn/).

马克思主义研究系将按研究生招生考试工作相关要求及时公布2020年硕士研究生复试及录取的相关信息。信息公布网站：马克思主义研究网(http://myy.cssn.cn/）。

Publication timeline: The re-examination work plan, the initial examination scores of candidates participating in the re-examination, and the re-examination list shall be published before the re-examination; the re-examination results (ranking) shall be published after the re-examination concludes; the proposed admission list shall be published before June 12, 2020 (thereafter, the university admissions office will uniformly publicize it for no fewer than 10 working days). After the publicity period ends, the university will, as required, submit the proposed admission list to the “Graduate Admissions Information Public Platform” for filing review and public disclosure. Candidates who have not been publicized and filed shall under no circumstances be admitted and shall not be granted student registration.

公布时间：复试工作方案、参加复试考生的初试成绩、复试名单等于复试前公布；复试结果（排名）于复试结束后公布；拟录取名单于2020年6月12日前公布（之后学校招生办公室将统一公示不少于10个工作日）。公示结束后，学校按要求将拟录取名单报“研招信息公开平台”备案审核并向社会公布，未经公示和备案的考生，一律不得录取，不予学籍注册。

(VII) Adjustment

（七）调剂

Candidates not admitted by this department after the re-examination may, through the “National Master’s Student Admissions Adjustment Service System” on the China Graduate Admissions Information Network (yz.chsi.com.cn), adjust as soon as possible to other enrolling units. The opening date of the “National Master’s Student Admissions Adjustment Service System” is approximately May 20, 2020. For specific adjustment requirements and instructions on using the adjustment service system, please refer to the relevant columns on the China Graduate Admissions Information Network.

复试后未被本系录取的考生，可通过中国研招网（yz.chsi.com.cn）“全国硕士生招生调剂服务系统”尽快调剂到其他招生单位。“全国硕士生招生调剂服务系统”的开放日期为2020年5月20日前后，调剂的具体要求和调剂服务系统的使用方法详见中国研招网相关栏目的说明。
