To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, to conduct in-depth research on the glorious course of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, to strengthen academic exchange among researchers nationwide working on adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and on socialism with Chinese characteristics, to consolidate the theoretical research contingent on adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, and to promote disciplinary development in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, it is planned that the 11th Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context, hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, will be held from May 7 to 9, 2021 (the specific dates may change depending on the national epidemic prevention and control situation) in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.

为庆祝中国共产党建党一百周年，深入研究马克思主义中国化的光辉历程，加强全国马克思主义中国化研究工作者、中国特色社会主义研究工作者的学术交流，凝聚马克思主义中国化理论研究队伍，推动马克思主义中国化学科建设，拟定于2021年5月7日至9日（根据全国疫情防控状况具体时间可能会有变化）在江苏省苏州市举办中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院第十一届马克思主义中国化学术论坛。

The forum is jointly hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Soochow University. The theme of the forum is “Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context at the Historical Intersection of a Century.” The forum, in conjunction with the Party’s centenary, will focus on the glorious course of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, further conduct in-depth research on the main contents of Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of Three Represents, the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and carry out a comprehensive and in-depth study of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context at the historical intersection of a century.

论坛由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院与苏州大学联合举办。论坛的主题是“百年历史交汇点的马克思主义中国化”。论坛结合党的百年华诞，围绕马克思主义中国化的光辉历程，进一步深入研究邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想、科学发展观以及习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想等主要内容，对百年历史交汇点的马克思主义中国化进行全面深入研究。

The forum is undertaken by the School of Marxism of Soochow University. Academic papers are now being solicited nationwide. Experts, scholars, teachers, and other teaching and research personnel in the research fields of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and socialism with Chinese characteristics are welcome to attend the forum with their papers.

论坛由苏州大学马克思主义学院承办。现面向全国征集学术论文，欢迎马克思主义中国化、中国特色社会主义等研究领域的专家、学者、教师等教研人员以文赴会。

The relevant matters concerning the call for papers are hereby notified as follows:

I. Forum Theme: “Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context at the Historical Intersection of a Century.”

一、论坛主题：“百年历史交汇点的马克思主义中国化”。

II. Forum Time: May 7 to 9, 2021 (the specific dates may change depending on the national epidemic prevention and control situation).

二、论坛时间：2021年5月7日至9日（根据全国疫情防控状况具体时间可能会有变化）。

III. Forum Location: Suzhou (conference affairs will be notified separately via the work QQ group).

IV. Paper Writing and Submission Requirements: Adhere to the correct political direction, closely follow the theme, provide ample materials, present thorough reasoning, and highlight academic nature; must be the result of independent research and not previously published; the length should be 8,000–10,000 words, accompanied by 3–5 keywords and an abstract of no more than 300 words; citations and historical materials must be accurate and rigorous, and sources must be indicated (format should refer to *Studies on Marxism*); at the end of the text, please include the author’s brief biography, email address, and contact phone number.

V. Paper Submission Deadline: April 15, 2021. After preliminary selection by the forum preparatory group, experts will be organized to review the papers (and award prizes). At the end of April, authors of selected papers will be invited to join the work QQ group, and an invitation letter to attend the forum will be sent within the group.
