Call for Papers for the 31st Annual Conference of the Chinese Society of Political Economy and the 24th Symposium of the China Shanghai School of Economics Forum

——One Hundred Years of the CPC’s Economic Theory Development and Socialist Modernization Construction

——中国共产党百年经济理论发展与社会主义现代化建设

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, to deepen the study and interpretation of Xi Jinping’s economic thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a New Era, to uphold and innovate Marxist political economy, and to strengthen theoretical research on the inherent laws of comprehensively building a modern socialist country, it is now planned to hold the 31st Annual Conference of the Chinese Society of Political Economy and the 24th Symposium of the China Shanghai School of Economics Forum in Changchun City, Jilin Province, on September 11–12, 2021 (a weekend). The conference is hosted by the Chinese Society of Political Economy, the China Center for Public Sector Economy Research of Jilin University, and the Shanghai School of Economics Research Institute of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics; organized by the China Center for Public Sector Economy Research of Jilin University, the Research Center for Political Economy of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics of Jilin University, and the Research Center for the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics of Jilin University; and co-organized by the Research Center for Economic and Social Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Principles Department of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the School of Economics of Jilin University, and the School of Marxism of Jilin University.

为庆祝中国共产党成立100周年，深入推进习近平新时代中国特色社会主义经济思想的学习和阐释，守正创新马克思主义政治经济学，加强对全面建设社会主义现代化国家内在规律的理论研究，现拟于2021年9月11-12日（双休日）在吉林省长春市召开中国政治经济学学会第31届年会暨中国海派经济论坛第24次研讨会。会议由中国政治经济学学会、吉林大学中国国有经济研究中心和上海财经大学海派经济学研究院主办，吉林大学中国国有经济研究中心、吉林大学中国特色社会主义政治经济学研究中心、吉林大学中国特色社会主义理论体系研究中心承办，中国社会科学院经济社会发展研究中心、中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院原理部、吉林大学经济学院、吉林大学马克思主义学院协办。

This conference takes as its theme “One Hundred Years of the CPC’s Economic Theory Innovation and the Historical Journey of Socialist Modernization,” and will focus on discussing the following content:

本次会议以“中国共产党百年经济理论创新与社会主义现代化历史征程”为主题，重点研讨如下内容：

1. The CPC’s century-long exploration of China’s economic modernization path and a summary of its historical experience

We now sincerely invite teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, universities and colleges, and other units, as well as members of this society, to actively contribute manuscripts. Manuscript requirements are as follows:

现诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校等单位的教学和研究人员及本学会成员积极提供稿件。稿件要求：

(1) The theme should be clear, the argumentation clear, reflecting continuity, academic quality, and innovation.

（一）主题鲜明、论证清晰，体现传承性、学术性和创新性。

(2) Annotations should be standardized, citations accurate, with sources indicated at the bottom of the page.

（二）注释规范，引文准确，在页下注明出处。

(3) The main text of the paper should be preceded by an abstract (approximately 800 characters), an author biography, and multiple contact methods.

（三）论文正文前附内容摘要（约800字）、作者简介及多种联系方式。

(4) The submission deadline is July 20, 2021. Submitted papers should be sent in WORD document format to the contact person: Researcher Hou Weimin of the Institute of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (email: zhjxh2019@163.com). Official invitations to attend the conference will be sent to selected authors before July 25.

Selected papers will be evaluated for this year’s society’s outstanding papers, and the best will be compiled into a proceedings volume to be published by Economic Science Press. Outstanding papers may be recommended to journals such as *Marxist Studies*, *Political Economy Studies*, *Contemporary Economic Research*, *Journal of Shandong University (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition)*, *Journal of Management*, and *Shanghai School of Economics*.

入选论文将参评本年度学会优秀论文，并择优编成论文集由经济科学出版社出版。优秀论文可推荐给《马克思主义研究》《政治经济学研究》《当代经济研究》《山东大学学报（哲社版）》《管理学刊》《海派经济学》等。
