“Call for Papers: The Eighth Forum on Scientific Socialism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences”

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in order to review the glorious course of the development of scientific socialism in China, summarize the great contributions and valuable experience of the CPC in upholding and developing scientific socialism, and look forward to the future development of scientific socialism in China and the world, the Eighth National Forum on Scientific Socialism, sponsored by the Marxist Theoretical Discipline Construction and Theoretical Research Work Group of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and jointly organized by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and South China Normal University, is scheduled to be held at South China Normal University from May 15 to 17, 2021. We are now soliciting papers from academic colleagues nationwide, and welcome everyone to attend the forum with their papers.

在中国共产党成立100周年之际，为回顾科学社会主义在中国发展的光辉历程，总结中国共产党对坚持和发展科学社会主义的伟大贡献和宝贵经验，展望科学社会主义在中国和世界的未来发展，由中国社会科学院马克思主义理论学科建设与理论研究工作小组主办，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院与华南师范大学共同承办的第八届全国科学社会主义论坛拟于2021年5月15-17日在华南师范大学举行。现面向全国学界同仁征集论文，欢迎大家以文赴会。

IV. Submission Requirements

This forum adopts a paper-based participation method. We sincerely invite teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, universities, and Party and government departments to actively submit papers. The deadline is April 15, 2021. Submission requirements:

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学和研究人员积极投稿，截止日期为2021年4月15日。稿件要求：

1. Correct stance, clear theme, rigorous logic, integration of history and theory, reflecting academic and innovative nature, with high theoretical and practical value;

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值；

2. The paper must be a new work not yet published, with a word count of no less than 8,000 characters, using footnotes at the bottom of the page. Please follow the publication format of *Studies on Marxism* specifically. Attach an abstract (about 300 characters), keywords (3-5), author biography, and detailed contact information before the main text.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数不少于8000字，采用页下脚注，具体请以《马克思主义研究》的刊发格式为准。正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3-5个），作者简介及详细联系方式。

This forum does not charge a registration fee. Transportation and accommodation expenses during the meeting are to be borne by participants. After selection by the expert review committee, the conference affairs group will send meeting invitations to selected authors before April 15. The conference will also recommend outstanding papers to *Studies on Marxism* for publication.

本次论坛不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。经专家评审委员会评选后,会务组将在4月15日前向入选作者发出会议邀请函。会议还将遴选优秀论文向《马克思主义研究》推荐发表。
