Call for Papers: Theoretical Symposium on “Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context in a Century-Long Perspective”

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, to conduct in-depth research on Li Da’s theoretical contributions and practical significance in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, and to systematically review the development process and internal logic of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context in a century-long perspective, the Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Propaganda Department of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the CPC have decided to hold the “Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context in a Century-Long Perspective” theoretical symposium in late May or early June 2021 in Lengshuitan District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, the hometown of Comrade Li Da. 为庆祝中国共产党成立100周年，深入研究李达对马克思主义中国化的理论贡献和实践意义，系统梳理百年视野中的马克思主义中国化发展历程及其内在逻辑，中国社会科学院习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究中心、中共湖南省委宣传部决定于2021年5月底或6月初在李达同志的故乡湖南永州市冷水滩区举办“百年视野中的马克思主义中国化”理论研讨会。研讨会主题为“百年视野中的马克思主义中国化”。欢迎全国各大高校、党校、社会主义学院、习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究中心、马克思主义研究机构等相关研究领域的专家学者及党政机关、企事业单位党务理论工作者积极投稿、以文赴会。

1. Paper Title Self-Determined: Conduct research on areas related to the adaptation of Marxism to the Chinese context, including Marxist philosophy, political economy, scientific socialism, Party building, and ideology, centering on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the latest achievement in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context. Papers must be correct in viewpoint, highlight ideological, academic, and practical qualities; length around 5,000 characters.

1.论文题目自拟：围绕习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想是马克思主义中国化最新成果，开展马克思主义哲学、政治经济学、科学社会主义、党的建设、意识形态等中国化相关领域研究。论文观点正确，突出思想性、学术性、实践性；篇幅在5000字左右。

2. Paper Submission Deadline: May 10. Please send the electronic draft of the paper to mkszyzgh2021@163.com, with the email subject formatted as “Institution + Name.” The organizers will organize experts to review the submissions, notify selected authors to attend the symposium with their papers in late May, issue invitation letters, compile the accepted papers for public publication, and recommend the best for publication.

2.论文截稿日期：5月10日。请将论文电子稿发至mkszyzgh2021@163.com ，邮件主题以“单位+姓名”格式命名。主办方将组织专家对征文进行评审，5月下旬通知入选者以文赴会，发出参会邀请函，参会论文结集公开出版，同时择优推荐发表。

3. Paper Format Order: Paper title, author name, institution (specified to the secondary unit), abstract, keywords, main text, with footnotes at the bottom of the page. Please indicate the author’s academic resume (title/position, research direction), contact information, and project funding at the bottom of the first page.

3.论文格式顺序为：论文题目、作者姓名、单位（具体到二级单位）、内容摘要、关键词、正文，注释为页下注。请在首页下注明作者学术简历（职称职务、研究方向）、联系方式、课题基金等。

4. Due to the limited scale of the symposium, each accepted paper invites only one author. If there are accompanying persons, please arrange your own accommodation and meals.

4.因为会议规模所限，故本次论坛每篇参会论文只邀请一位作者，如有其他随行人员，请自行解决食宿。

5. Meeting Fees: The symposium charges no registration fee. Travel expenses are at your own cost; accommodation and meal expenses during the symposium are covered by the organizing committee.

5.会议费用：会议不收会议费，差旅费自理，会议期间食宿费由组委会负责。

6. This symposium does not arrange airport or train station pickup. Please proceed on your own to the Huatian Hotel (by Quhe Bridge), Lengshuitan District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, upon arrival in Yongzhou.
