In accordance with the Ministry of Education’s “Notice on Properly Conducting the 2021 National Master’s Degree Candidate Admission and Enrollment Work” (Teaching Office [2021] No. 2) and relevant document requirements from the Beijing Municipal Admissions Examination Committee, and in combination with the “Work Plan for the 2021 Master’s Degree Candidate Re-examination and Admission of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences” and the specific circumstances of this School, the Work Plan and Notice for the 2021 Master’s Degree Candidate Re-examination of the School of Marxism, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is hereby formulated as follows:
根据教育部《关于做好2021年全国硕士研究生招生录取工作的通知》（教学司﹝2021﹞2号）及北京市招生考试委员会相关文件要求，结合《中国社会科学院大学2021年硕士研究生招生复试录取工作方案》和本院具体情况，特制定中国社会科学院大学马克思主义学院2021年硕士研究生招生复试工作方案及复试通知，内容如下：
I. Re-examination Organization and Management
一、复试组织管理
The School of Marxism shall establish and improve its organizational management structure, forming a re-examination and admission work group of no fewer than three persons, headed by the Dean and including relevant departments such as discipline inspection and supervision. [1]1 discipline inspection and supervision (纪检监察): Refers to the internal Party and government bodies responsible for enforcing discipline and combating corruption within the Chinese Communist Party and state institutions. Under the guidance of the re-examination work group, and taking into account disciplinary categories, professional fields, etc., a re-examination group of no fewer than five persons shall be formed as required. Under the guidance of the School’s re-examination and admission work group, the re-examination group is responsible for determining the specific content, scoring standards, and procedures for the candidate re-examination (including the foreign language comprehensive ability test) and practical ability assessment, and for organizing their implementation. The School of Marxism’s 2021 master’s degree candidate re-examination and admission work shall make relevant preparations and handle emergencies in accordance with the university’s overall requirements for COVID-19 prevention and control.
马克思主义学院建立健全组织管理机构，成立以院长为组长、纪检监察等相关部门参与的不少于三人的复试录取工作小组。在复试工作小组的指导下，综合考虑学科类别、专业领域等，按要求成立不少于五人的复试小组。复试小组在院系复试录取工作小组指导下，负责确定考生复试（包括外语综合能力测试）和实践能力考核的具体内容、评分标准、程序，并具体组织实施。马克思主义学院2021年硕士研究生招生复试录取工作将按学校新冠肺炎疫情防控总体要求做好相关准备工作和突发事件处置工作。
II. Re-examination Work Requirements
二、复试工作要求
All stages of the School of Marxism’s re-examination shall be conducted using non-face-to-face methods such as internet platforms, email, and telephone, including admissions consultation, document collection, qualification review, and interview assessment. No on-site admissions activities of any kind shall be arranged.
马克思主义学院复试各环节均采用互联网平台、电子邮件、电话等非现场方式，包括招生咨询、材料收缴、资格审核、面试考核等环节，不安排任何现场形式的招生活动。
During the re-examination process, a scientific concept of talent selection shall be established, comprehensive re-examination assessment shall be strengthened, equal emphasis shall be placed on ability and knowledge assessment, and efforts shall be focused on examining the candidate’s innovative spirit and ability, professional interest and literacy, etc.; attention shall be paid to the candidate’s consistent performance, valuing not only the initial examination scores but also past academic performance and potential ability and quality. The role of the mentor group in re-examination selection shall be fully utilized and standardized, the academic authority and responsibility of the mentor group shall be further clarified, the mentor group’s ability to scientifically and normatively select talent shall be enhanced, and the quality of talent selection shall be continuously improved.
复试过程中，树立科学的人才选拔理念，强化复试综合考查，坚持能力与知识考核并重，着力加强对考生创新精神和能力、专业兴趣和素养等方面的考查；注重考生一贯表现，既重视初试成绩，也重视既往学业表现和潜在能力素质。充分发挥和规范导师群体在复试选拔中的作用，进一步明确导师群体的学术权力和责任，提高导师群体科学规范选拔人才的能力，不断提高人才选拔质量。
The School of Marxism shall strengthen integrity assessment and process supervision. For candidates who engage in fraud, examination violations, or cheating, regardless of when such conduct is verified and determined, they shall be dealt with seriously in accordance with the “Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations” and the “Regulations on the Management of Students in Ordinary Institutions of Higher Learning,” among others.
马克思主义学院将加强诚信评判和过程监管。对弄虚作假及考试违规、作弊考生，无论何时核查确定，一律按照《国家教育考试违规处理办法》和《普通高等学校学生管理规定》等严肃处理。
III. Re-examination Preparatory Work
三、复试准备工作
(1) Selection of Re-examination Teachers
（一）复试教师的遴选
The School of Marxism shall select personnel who are politically reliable, have a strong sense of responsibility, are in good health, experienced, have a high professional level, and are upright to participate in re-examination work. Personnel management shall be effectively strengthened, training for re-examination teachers shall be enhanced, and admissions discipline shall be strictly enforced. Those who violate admissions work discipline shall be promptly identified, resolutely corrected, and seriously dealt with.
马克思主义学院选派政治可靠、责任心强、身体健康、经验丰富、业务水平高、作风正派的人员参与复试工作。切实抓好人员管理，加强对复试教师的培训，严肃招生纪律。对违反招生工作纪律者及时发现、坚决纠正、严肃处理。
(2) Qualification Review
（二）资格审查
The School of Marxism shall conduct qualification review of re-examination candidates before the re-examination using methods such as email, platform systems, or postal delivery. Candidate re-examination notices, etc., shall be sent by School staff to candidates participating in the re-examination via telephone, email, or other means. Candidates may provide supporting materials related to their professional ability and potential for the re-examination group’s comprehensive evaluation reference. Candidates must guarantee the authenticity of the submitted materials; if timely submission is impossible due to special circumstances such as the epidemic, they should explain the situation to the School.
马克思主义学院在复试前采用电子邮件、平台系统或邮寄快递等方式对复试考生资格进行审查。考生复试通知等由学院工作人员以电话、电子邮件等方式通知参加复试的考生。考生可提供个人专业能力与潜质相关证明材料，供复试小组综合评价参考。考生须保证提交材料的真实性，如因疫情等特殊影响无法及时提交应向学院说明情况。
If the School of Marxism has doubts about a candidate’s academic qualifications (student status) information, etc., the candidate shall provide certification from an authoritative institution as required. The ethnicity field in the candidate’s online registration information must match the ethnicity item on their ID card and shall not be changed during the re-examination. Candidates eligible for bonus points under Ministry of Education regulations must submit a written application and relevant supporting materials to the School. Upon enrollment, the university will re-examine candidate information; those found to have forged or provided false information will have their admission qualification cancelled.
马克思主义学院如对考生的学历（学籍）信息等有疑问，考生应按要求提供权威机构出具的认证说明。考生网上报名信息中民族栏应与身份证民族项填写一致，复试时不得更改。符合教育部规定可享受加分政策的考生，需向学院提出书面申请并提交相关证明材料。入学时，学校将对考生信息进行复查，对伪造或者提供不实信息者取消录取资格。
Candidates participating in the School of Marxism’s re-examination should carefully read the “Notice for Candidates of the 2021 Master’s Online Remote Re-examination of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences” and related content such as the remote interview system operation manual, install and debug the equipment used for the remote re-examination in advance as required, ensure smooth communication channels, and cooperate in preparatory work such as testing and training drills for the remote re-examination system to ensure the normal conduct of the re-examination.
参加马克思主义学院复试考生应认真阅读《中国社会科学院大学2021年硕士招生网络远程复试考生须知》及远程面试系统操作手册等相关内容，按要求提前安装调试好远程复试所用的设备，保障联络方式畅通，并配合做好远程复试系统的测试及演练培训等准备工作，以保证复试的正常进行。
IV. Re-examination Work Methods
四、复试工作办法
(1) Re-examination Score Requirements
（一）复试分数要求
The initial examination scores of candidates entering the School of Marxism’s re-examination shall not be lower than the score line set by the Ministry of Education’s “2021 National Master’s Degree Candidate Examination Basic Score Requirements for Entering Re-examination (Academic Degree Category).” The School shall not re-examine or admit candidates below the score line.
马克思主义学院进入复试考生的初试成绩应不低于教育部《2021年全国硕士研究生招生考试考生进入复试的初试成绩基本要求（学术型学位类）》所划定的分数线，学院不复试录取线下生源。
(2) Re-examination Assessment Methods
（二）复试考核方式
The School of Marxism’s 2021 master’s degree candidate re-examination work shall be conducted using online remote re-examination methods, mainly including a professional comprehensive ability interview and a foreign language comprehensive ability test.
马克思主义学院2021年硕士研究生招生复试工作采取网络远程复试方式开展，主要包括专业综合能力面试和外语综合能力测试。

(3) Main Content of the Re-examination
（三）复试主要内容
In accordance with training objectives and disciplinary characteristics, a comprehensive examination of the candidate’s past studies, consistent performance, research ability, comprehensive quality, and ideological and moral character shall be strengthened. The re-examination mainly includes two basic aspects: professional quality and ability, and comprehensive quality and ability:
根据培养目标和学科特色，加强对考生既往学业、一贯表现、科研能力、综合素质和思想品德等情况的全面考查。复试主要包含专业素质和能力、综合素质和能力两大基本方面：
Professional Quality and Ability:
专业素质和能力：
(1) Learning situation and grades during the university stage;
(1)大学阶段学习情况及成绩；
(2) University graduation thesis and published papers;
(2)大学毕业论文和发表论文情况；
(3) Comprehensive assessment of the candidate’s mastery of the theoretical knowledge and applied skills of the discipline (specialty), ability to use learned theories to discover, analyze, and solve problems, understanding of the development trends of the discipline, and potential for development in the professional field;
(3)全面考核考生对本学科（专业）理论知识和应用技能掌握程度，利用所学理论发现、分析、解决问题的能力，对本学科发展动态的了解以及在本专业领域发展的潜力；
(4) Foreign language comprehensive ability test, including listening and speaking ability;
(4)外语综合能力测试，包括听说能力；
(5) Innovative spirit and innovative ability.

Comprehensive Quality and Ability:
综合素质和能力：
(1) Ideological and political quality and moral character, humanistic literacy, etc.;
(1)思想政治素质和道德品质、人文素养等;
(2) Learning outside the discipline (specialty), scientific research, social practice (student work, club activities, volunteer services, etc.), or actual work performance, etc.;
(2)本学科（专业）以外的学习、科研、社会实践（学生工作、社团活动、志愿服务等）或实际工作表现等方面的情况；
(3) Dedication, sense of responsibility, discipline (law-abiding), cooperativeness, and mental health status.
(3)事业心、责任感、纪律性（遵纪守法）、协作性和心理健康情况。
(4) Assessment of Ideological and Political Quality and Moral Character, and Medical Examination
（四）思想政治素质和道德品质考核及体检
The re-examination group shall focus on examining the candidate’s ideological and political quality and moral character during the interview. Assessment content includes the candidate’s political attitude, ideological performance, moral character, law-abidingness, honesty and trustworthiness, etc. Candidates should submit, during the re-examination period, an ideological and political quality and moral character assessment document issued by their work unit or archival unit’s Party organization (Party committee, sub-Party committee, general Party branch), personnel, or political work department. Candidates whose ideological and political quality and moral character assessment result is unqualified shall not be admitted. The medical examination for proposed admitted candidates shall be completed during the enrollment medical examination; those who fail the medical examination shall have their admission qualification cancelled as required.
复试小组在面试时注重考察考生的思想政治素质和道德品质。考核内容包括考生的政治态度、思想表现、道德品质、遵纪守法、诚实守信等方面。考生应在复试期间提交由所在单位、存档单位党组织（党委、分党委、党总支）、人事、政工部门出具的思想政治素质和道德品质鉴定材料。思想政治素质和道德品质考核结果不合格者不予录取。拟录取考生体检在入学体检中完成，体检不合格者，按要求取消入学资格。
(5) Score Evaluation and Calculation
（五）成绩的评定及计算
The total score for the School of Marxism’s master’s admissions entrance examination is the sum of the initial examination score (total 500 points) and the re-examination score (total 250 points). The re-examination score is the sum of the professional comprehensive ability interview (200 points) and the foreign language comprehensive ability test (50 points). The total re-examination score is 250 points, with a passing line of 150 points; those who fail are not admitted.
马克思主义学院硕士招生的入学考试总成绩为初试成绩（总分500分）和复试成绩（总分250分）之和。复试成绩为专业综合能力面试（200分）和外语综合能力测试（50分）成绩之和，复试总分为250分，合格线为150分，不合格者不予录取。
(6) Information Publication Time and Method
（六）信息公布时间和方式
The School of Marxism shall promptly publish information related to the 2021 master’s degree candidate re-examination and admission in accordance with relevant requirements for graduate admissions examination work. Information publication website: Marxism Research Network (http://myy.cssn.cn/).
马克思主义学院将按研究生招生考试工作相关要求及时公布2021年硕士研究生复试及录取的相关信息。信息公布网站：马克思主义研究网(http://myy.cssn.cn/）。
Publication Time: The re-examination work plan, initial examination scores of candidates participating in the re-examination, and re-examination list shall be published before the re-examination; the re-examination results (ranking) shall be published after the re-examination concludes; the proposed admission list is planned to be published in May 2021 (after which the university admissions office will uniformly publicize it for no fewer than 10 working days). After the publicity period ends, the university shall, as required, submit the proposed admission list to the “Research Admissions Information Public Platform” for filing review and public disclosure. Candidates who have not been publicized and filed shall not be admitted under any circumstances and shall not be registered for student status.
公布时间：复试工作方案、参加复试考生的初试成绩、复试名单等于复试前公布；复试结果（排名）于复试结束后公布；拟录取名单计划于2021年5月公布（之后学校招生办公室将统一公示不少于10个工作日）。公示结束后，学校按要求将拟录取名单报“研招信息公开平台”备案审核并向社会公布，未经公示和备案的考生，一律不得录取，不予学籍注册。
(7) Adjustment
（七）调剂
After the re-examination of first-choice candidates, the School of Marxism will conduct the work of receiving adjustment candidates in 2021 through the “National Master’s Student Adjustment Service System”. The re-examination time for adjustment candidates is tentatively set around April 8. The adjustment work procedures and requirements, etc., shall refer to the relevant provisions of the “University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences 2021 Master’s Enrollment Re-examination and Admission Work Method”.
马克思主义学院2021年接收调剂考生相关工作待一志愿报考考生复试结束后通过“全国硕士生招生调剂服务系统”开展，调剂生复试时间拟定于4月8日左右，调剂工作程序及要求等参考《中国社会科学院大学2021年硕士招生复试录取工作办法》的相关规定进行。
Candidates who are not proposed for admission by this School after the re-examination may transfer to other enrollment units as soon as possible through the “National Master’s Student Adjustment Service System” on the China Graduate Admissions Information Network (yz.chsi.com.cn). The system’s opening date is March 22, 2021. For usage methods, etc., see the explanations in the relevant columns of the China Graduate Admissions Information Network.
复试后未被本学院拟录取的考生，可通过中国研招网（yz.chsi.com.cn）“全国硕士生招生调剂服务系统”尽快调剂到其他招生单位。系统的开放日期为2021年3月22日，使用方法等详见中国研招网相关栏目的说明。
